What happens between Agott and Coco after the whole incident?

Even though there is a clear tension between Agott and Coco, it is clear that things are better between them than ever before. Agott is not as antagonistic towards Coco as she was before. Coco is also much more comfortable with Agott and is not as fidgety as she was in the beginning. Though there are times when Coco becomes too apologetic in front of Agott, it is nothing too extreme.

Did Coco learn a new magic?

Coco tries to perfect her magic even more and realises how difficult it is for her to paint with her magic pen. For her, drawing with a stone is a lot easier, but as her dexterity is not as good with a pen, things are not very good for Coco. That is when Quifrey comes to give her the much-needed morale boost. He lets her know how important it is to take time to learn things, and she must practise more and more to get better. He also showcases how she should be able to incorporate magic in everyday life so that it becomes a habitable thing.

Thus, they both start cooking together, and we see how Quifrey utilises magic and does the miscellaneous chores around the house. This makes it easier for the witches themselves to keep the pattern in mind.

What happens after the cooking is done?

Both Quifrey and Coco cook with much passion, and they decided that they would eat their meal outside. That is when Agott lets them know that there is a storm brewing. Thankfully, because of magic, they could save the day and enjoy a happy time even in the rain. However, when the rain stops, Coco goes to call Agott over so that she can also enjoy the view. Surprisingly, a mysterious man opens the door.

Who is this new man?

This new character is none other than Olruggio, who acts as the guardian of the atelier. It is his job to keep all the problems in check, and if anything happens, let the higher-ups know. When he sees Coco, he becomes immediately hostile and tries to bring her to the officials, but Quifrey uses magic against him in an act of rebellion. He then tells Olruggio how Coco’s memories will be wiped out if she were handed over, and even her love for magic will be gone. This somehow convinces the man to stay put at least for now.

Is Olruggio evil?

No, Olruggio is not evil, as later, we see him being very protective of Coco. He is just duty-bound and would like to do everything better for the atelier. Olruggio would most likely turn out to be a very important character in the future.

What worked and what did not work?

Honestly, this episode stood out by introducing the new character, which brought a layer of depth the story really needed. Hopefully, it signals a shift toward more complexity in what has so far been a fairly straightforward narrative.
