Ha-na’s Shocking Breakup Decision Explains Woo-jae’s Lasting Anger

Things finally get clear as to why Woo-jae was so angry with Ha-na.  It becomes clear that they used to date in the beginning, and they had a very bad breakup that was initiated by Ha-na herself. This was completely new information for the siblings who had just come to this future. They became extremely surprised by such news. First of all, if Ha-na and Woo-jae were in a loving relationship, why did they break up? And even if they did, what happened for Woo-jae to hate Ha-na even after 10 years?

Woo-jae and Ha-na’s Love Story Takes a Painful Turn

We do get a clear flashback where we see what actually happened after Ha-na’s camera breaks. Their personalities change right away, and both the siblings forget their mission. Ha-na also, weirdly enough, asks to date Woo-jae right at that spot, and Woo-jae also becomes very happy with her confession and begins a relationship. Things went fairly well for them in the beginning as they seemed very lovey-dovey with each other. However, conflicts arose when they both got involved in their respective professional careers.

As an actor and actress in the South Korean industry, you are often expected not to have a romantic relationship. Woo-jae, who was very accepting of his lover, did not hide the fact that he had a girlfriend. Ha-naon, on the other hand, was a comparatively new actress, and it was really affecting her that she was getting linked online with Woo-jae. Thus, it was hinted that a controversy about their relationship and the fear of professional pitfalls ultimately ended the relationship between Woo-jae and Ha-na.

Ha-na’s Awkward Encounter With Ye-rang as Ha-ru Delivers Laughs

The comedic timing of this episode was also very nicely handled. There was a scene of intimacy between Ye-rang and Ha-ru. This was hilarious because Ha-na was literally in Ha-ru’s body, and she somehow managed to escape from the awkward situation. However, the seriousness did not go away because of the light humour. The episode kept the mood and theme of the storyline intact.

Hyung-won’s Role in the Siblings’ Tragedies Remains a Mystery

This episode does a major job of relieving suspicion from one character. I knew for a fact that this character was not the antagonist, and I was right. This was none other than Hyung-won. He has been a very mixed and confusing character for me to study. I’m still very confused as to whether he is completely in the right or in the wrong. Maybe he is involved with all the tragedies that were happening with the siblings, but in a limited manner.

Final Thoughts

As usual, this episode was also filled with twists and turns, and I did not really expect the way it ended. We do see the character who is going to be the possible antagonist, but again I am uncertain. We might get another sudden twist that would entirely change our perception. Apart from that, I am definitely hooked and would love to get a proper conclusion to this entire mess.
