What is the ideology of the Brimmed Cap witches?

The Brimmed Cap witches believed that magic should be without any restraint. Though it might sound appealing, it also opens the door to situations that can be very evil. If there are no restraints, then no one would think twice before harming others. This is why it was important for the witches to control their magic and make it inaccessible to everyone. The Brimmed Cap witches do not want that. They also use magic to do bodily harm, something that is not allowed within the civilised world of Witch Hat Atelier.

Why do Brimmed Cap witches want Coco?

It is honestly still a mystery as to why they chose Coco in the first place. They did not specifically seek her out to provide magic to her. Hence, it is possible that she was chosen purely by luck.

What kind of connection did Richeh and Euini form?

Both Richeh and Euini have their own sets of problems, in which they were doubted by someone at some point in their lives. Richeh was able to get over criticisms and became adamant that she would win by her own rules. On the other hand, Euini accepted the criticisms and made himself believe that he was not worth the effort. Thus, perhaps Richeh sees a part of herself in him, and that’s why she helps him out at first. In the last episode, he also helps her out and showcases that he has grown from the moment they met. Thus, it will not be an exaggeration to say that they indeed formed a very special bond.

What happened to Euini?

One of the saddest aspects of the last episode was definitely the fact that Euini had to face the consequences even after he helped Agott. He gets captured by the Brimmed Cap witch, who spares no time in performing a heinous magic on him. He transforms Euini into a werewolf, completely erasing his human form.

What do Richeh and Agott do after that?

At first, Richeh wanted to go and find Euini, but Agott stopped her. She reminded Richeh how they will not be able to do anything without help. They must get out of the cave first and bring someone who will be able to help everyone, including Euini. Thus, they prioritise getting out of the cave first. The fact that Richeh knows very little basic magic did not help the case either.

What happens to Coco, Qifrey and Tetia?

Their situation was not great either. After getting attacked, Qifrey manages to save his two pupils, yet they end up in the depths of the cave. That is when strange creatures covered in gold come outside, showcasing obvious distaste for witches. They claim that they were turned into gold by witches, which is why they hate them. Qifrey then instructs his pupils to stay close to him as he prepares for one of his most difficult battles.

Was the ending satisfying?

The ending was not very satisfying because the story stopped at some crucial moments. The season ended on a huge cliffhanger, leaving many important questions unanswered. Even so, this was still one of the best episodes of the season because of all the exciting developments it introduced. It does a great job of setting up Season 2.
