Ho-gae wakes up from unconsciousness, and everyone finds relief that he is alright. Without wasting another minute, he starts investigating the possible homicide. After much inquiry, he gathers solid proof against the perpetrator. He reaches the police station just in time with the police warrant during Ma Tae-Hwa’s release.
They take Tae-hwa to another room, where they conduct a gait analysis to determine if he is the drug peddler or Choi. They make both the suspect participate in the test, and finally, it is proven that Choi is the one who sold the drug proving him with an alibi. Tae-hwa’s whereabouts are unknown during the time of the murder, which directly convicts him.
Later in the investigation room, Ho-gae spends a long time making Tae-hwa confess, but he does not falter. After much conviction, he confesses that he was the one who killed his girlfriend out of rage. The police also find solid proof of the murder from the CCTV camera, which aligns with the statements received.
