Reborn Rich Episode 9 Reactions: Chemistry or No Chemistry?

Reborn Rich episode 8 is finally out, and we’re back to praising the show’s genius. Based on San Gyung’s novel The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate/재벌집 막내아들, it is a Korean drama featuring Song Joong-ki, Lee Sung-min, Shin Hyun-bin and Jin Yang-chul and directed by Jung Dae-yoon. The latest episode has a runtime of around 70 minutes.

The Korean Drama series is the story of Yoon Hyun-woo, a loyal secretary of the Jin family’s Sunyang Group Empire. Hyun-woo is framed for theft and then killed by a member of the Jin family. But, as fate decides, Yoon Hyun-woo is reborn as the new member of the Jin family. He remembers his past life and seeks revenge on his new family.

It’s a new episode, but Twitter can’t help thinking about Min-young and Do-joon’s chemistry and wondering whether there could be more. Ok, they aren’t overtly flirting, but we’d like to think that there’s something there. Walking together and just chatting, telling her that she must’ve kept her number the same for him – I mean, a fan can dream, right? Or, is there something else in store for them?

Other than that, we see a lot of Hyun-woo’s past that is nothing but heartbreaking. Watching your father shoplifting to feed the kids and selling your things to help him somehow can’t be easy for any child. Watching it and then comparing his life in the present as Do-joon is heartbreaking for the audience.

However, regardless of everything, it’s the last scene of the episode that leaves all of us shocked – is Min-young for or against Do-joon?!
