Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 12 Ending Explained

New sorcerers have been on the rise since Gojo Satoru’s sealing along with the old ones coming back in action. Kenjaku recruited many sorcerers to help him in the cause of entrapping Gojo and creating a jujutsu world free of sorcerers and only the curse spirits dominating it. And one of them brought back Toji Fushiguro’s body, who was one of the most notorious sorcerer killer.

Who is Granny Ogami?

Granny Ogami is one of many intriguing characters that the Shibuya arc introduces to the story. She hates Gojo because his existence put an end to her illicit operations, so she joins forces with Kenjaku to keep him confined to the Prison Realm. She may summon the body or soul data from their dead using her seance technique. With the aid of a ceremony, she is able to transform herself or anyone else into someone else using their corpse.

One of the main bad guys in the Hidden Inventory arc was Toji, also known as Toji Zenin. His contribution to Gojo’s life is quite significant. Gojo’s character development and evolution, as well as his understanding of right and wrong, were sparked by Toji’s acts. Gojo, however, was able to assassinate him and terminate his rule. Also, he is Megumi Fushiguro’s biological father. Granny Ogami decided to summon his body information into her grandson.

How did Toji take control of Granny Ogami’s grandson?

When Granny was trying to order her grandson about the next steps of the plan, she suddenly realised something jarring. Toji’s voice appeared and she was shocked to see that he took control of the body. She goes on to explain that she only summons body information instead of soul information to prevent situations as such this. However, Toji responds that his body absorbed the soul of the host and hence, he has control over her grandson. She could not believe it was a thing like a very rare occurrence, almost impossible.

Toji swiftly goes near Granny Ogami and kills her instantly. The reason why he could take control of the body might be because he is no ordinary being. Moreover, since he possesses the heavenly restriction cursed technique, it makes him more powerful than any ordinary being.
