Shadow Detective Episode 7 Preview: When, Where and How to Watch!

Shadow Detective (형사록) is a mystery-crime Korean drama series directed by Han Dong-hwa and stars Lee Sung-min, Jin Goo, Kyung Soo-jin and Lee Hak-joo, alongside other cast members.

We last saw Lee Sung-min in Juvenile Justice as Kang Won-joong; Jin Goo is known for his role in Descendants of the Sun as Seo Dae-young, while Lee Hak-joo is known for his role as Jung Tae-joo in 2021’s My Name. Director Han Dong-hwa’s last directorial venture was Navillera with Park In-hwan and Song Kang.

Shadow Detective follows veteran detective Kim Taek-rok who is on the brink of retirement. As he waits for his time at the police station to come to a natural end, he receives a phone call from someone who changes his entire life – a mysterious person tells him that he killed his colleague. This revelation soon spirals into Taek-rok getting incriminated in the murder case and trying his best to prove his innocence and bring the murderer to justice.

Along the way, he takes the help of the new head of the detective squad Kuk Jin-han along with Lee Sung-a and Song Kyung-chan. Will the detectives be able to find out who this murderer is?

Shadow Detective Episode 7 Predictions

Now that Jin-han has attacked Detective Bae after his having reached out to Taek-rok about the younger colleague’s probable involvement in Section Chief Hyun-seok’s case, Taek-rok will be further pushed into the dark, thus proving his distasteful belief of not trusting anyone. Mr. Cheon’s life is in danger whether anyone accepts it or not. With Taek-rok out of the hospital, anything can happen to him because the Chief wants him out of the picture anyway for his own good. Even Detective Han’s motives aren’t clear anymore. Who can Taek-rok really count on? The answer to that is also misplaced.

Shadow Detective Episode 6 Recap

Detective Bae rounds up on Jin-han’s involvement in Hyun-seok’s case while Taek-rok swears to protect and reduce the sentence for Mr. Cheon if he testifies against the Police Chief.
