What happens after Subaru rescues Julius?

Julius gets scolded by Emilia, who strictly tells him to take a rest. He also agrees that what he did was not right. Later, while discussing this, Ram also mentions how things could have ended very badly for all of them. The examiner could have just made them all fail the exam. They kind of all just start fighting amongst each other and then decide that they must discover a way to pass the second exam before Julius recovers.

Here, Ram theorised that Emily won because she was acknowledged by the examiner. She got information out of him while also fulfilling his terms.

What do Julius and Subaru talk about?

Re:ZERO Season 4 Episode 7 Review

Julius tells Subaru that he would like to wait for Lady Anaesthesia to wake up. However, he tells how he is unsure about what he should say to her when she wakes up. Subaru obviously has a lighthearted answer to that question, and Julius tells him how he envies his happy-go-lucky personality. Later, Subaru falls asleep only to wake up and see that Anastasia is nowhere to be found.

What happens after Subaru wakes up?

After Subaru wakes up, he sees a bird travelling within the tower and goes to find a mysterious section of the tower. He then finds Anastasia on the balcony. Here, Subaru confronts her, and she, in turn, confronts him, asking who exactly he is. Apparently, the real Anastasia tried to investigate Subaru’s background and found nothing. They also talk about the real Anastasia’s condition.

What happens after that?

Julius ends up listening to half of the conversation, and he draws a sword against the fake Anastasia. She then tells him the entire thing about how she is a false spirit only occupying Anna’s body. When asked what her objective is, she just claims that she wants to return the body to Anna.

What was the main question that Julius asked?

Julius asked why she acted recklessly while trying to protect him when he was getting beaten by the examiner. If she really wanted to protect Anna’s body, she would have taken more care of herself. Fake Anastasia answered that it was for a strategic reason, as she did not want to lose Julius for the sake of Anna. Julius also bought this story. This obviously shocked Subaru that Julius got convinced so easily.

When Subaru asked Julius whether he wanted to say something to him? What did Julius say?

Julius agreed that he realised why Subaru hid such a truth from him. He also stated that had he been in Subaru’s place, he would have done the same thing. However, he also declared that he didn’t want Subaru or Lady Anastasia to think that Julius was not worthy of being Anna’s knight.

What worked and what did not work?

In the first half of this episode, things were relatively mild as we primarily explored the storyline. However, the last five minutes completely changed the whole thing because it presented us with a massive twist.

This was highly unexpected, and it will be very interesting to see how they develop the story from here on.
