Our Blues (우리들의 블루스) is a Korean drama series directed by Kim Kyu-tae and features Lee Byung-hun, Shin Min-a, Cha Seung-won, Lee Jung-eun, Han Ji-min, Kim Woo-bin, and Uhm Jung-hwa, alongside other cast members. The series has 20 episodes, and Our Blues Episode 12 is titled Mi-ran And Eun-hui-1 and has a runtime of 60 minutes.

In Our Blues Episode 12, Yeong-ok reveals to Jeong-jun that she doesn’t have a husband or a child on the mainland and she knows about all the rumours about her. Jeong-jun trusted her so far and it was worth it. He is happy and tells Yeong-ok that now he does not have to worry anymore. He can take care if she has obnoxious parents, siblings, relatives or creditors because she is his woman now.
While under the sea water, Yeong-ok’s leg gets stuck in a fishing net but thankful to Dal-i’s attention, the older Haenyos save her. One of them also gets stuck in the net after saving Yeong-ok and had to struggle to breathe while getting out. They had to finish their work in an hour instead of four hours. The Haenyos are now adamant about kicking out Yeong-ok but Yeong-ok tells her truth to the oldest Haenyo, Ms Wang. Yeong-ok’s parents died when she was twelve and they used to be painters who also sold clothes when they were financially unwell.

Ko Mi-ran is Eun-hui’s best friend who has been living in Seoul and runs her own business. She has been married and divorced three times and her oldest daughter is now getting graduated in Paris. She was excited to attend her graduation ceremony and then travel with her but her daughter told her not to come. Upset Mi-ran goes to Jeju with all the gifts she had packed for her daughter.
All the men pester Eun-hui early in the morning asking about Mi-ran, except Ho-sik who doesn’t like Mi-ran. In-gwon calls Eun-hui Mi-ran’s maid and tells her to pick her up from the airport. After Eun-hui picks her up, In-gwon takes Mi-ran from Eun-hui and goes to the grandmothers. Eun-hui had prepared a meal for Eun-hui but Mi-ran eats with the grandmothers without telling Eun-hui. She calls Eun-hui again to pick her up. She looks down on her profession and asks her to party with them.
Our Blues Episode 12 Ending
Ho-sik is not happy with Mi-ran’s behaviour and tells Eun-hui to stop doing everything for her. Mi-ran was a wealthy kid and she became friends with poor Eun-hui in school. They always helped each other and had promised to stay loyal to each other. However, one day in high school, Mi-ran had called Eun-hui a moocher but she had let go of it. Ho-sik still hasn’t forgotten that.
Eun-hui has forgiven Mi-ran for calling her a moocher but an incident that happened a year ago showed Eun-hui her real place in Mi-ran’s life. Eun-hui travelled from Jeju to Seoul late at night after Mi-ran called her saying that she wanted to die after getting divorced the third time. Eun-hui reaches there crying and finds Mi-ran partying with her friends. She had a bet with her friends to show how loyal a person can be. She call Eun-hui a doormat and that’s when Eun-hui knew that Mi-ran was never her friend.
Our Blues Episode 12 Review
In Our Blues Episode 12, Jeong-jun is seen as a patient man who trusted and waited until Yeong-ok told her story by herself and didn’t believe in the rumours. Eun-hui’s life has been miserable and her so-called friend has come back to make her feel more miserable. Mi-ran has only used Eun-hui and never respected her as a human or a friend and she has never realized it because Eun-hui never showed it.
