My Happy Marriage Season 2 Episode 3 Recap
Miyo finds herself facing a challenging situation as a newly emerged faction threatens the safety of ordinary people. This group’s actions are likely to escalate into an even greater problem for her in the future. Known for her gentle and compassionate nature, Miyo does everything in her power to rescue a young boy from the village using her abilities.
However, she isn’t navigating this alone as Arata is by her side, ready to step in if anything goes wrong. His presence is crucial, as Miyo is still learning to control her dream sight ability, a power that remains unpredictable and difficult for her to master.

Meanwhile, Kiyoka confronts the sinister organization known as the Gifted Communion. Their primary goal is to transform regular individuals into demons by bestowing abilities that only a rare few are naturally born with. Behind this group lies a cunning mastermind whose identity is closely tied to the Usuba family. This individual is revealed to be the driving force behind the recent surge of grotesques and the chaos they bring.
Amid these tensions, the story also delves into Miyo’s evolving relationship with her in-laws. Fuyu, who had been skeptical of Miyo, begins to acknowledge her remarkable abilities and genuine kindness. While Fuyu doesn’t openly express approval, it becomes clear that she is starting to see Miyo as a fitting partner for her son.

My Happy Marriage Season 2 Episode 4 Review
Today’s episode was very interesting as we finally shed some light on the mysterious man, Usui, who claimed to be Miyo’s father. He appears in front of Miyo, Kiyoka, and Arata, claiming that he came just to greet them and nothing more. He also promises Miyo that he will visit her again and keeps calling her his daughter. Whether that statement is true or not is something that you must find out by watching this episode. But this meeting solidified one thing. Usui’s target is definitely Miyo, and it doesn’t matter whether he is her father, as he needs her ability to further his sinister plans.

Kiyoka knows about it and hence decides to give formal protection to Miyo by having her stay at the Imperial Army headquarters. Here, Kiyoka will be able to keep an eye on her and not worry about her being targeted. He also invites her and Arata to their meeting and gets to know more about Usui’s power. Here, two things happened. We got to know that Usui has the power to control and manipulate all human senses and can even infiltrate any place without others knowing about it. Plus, we also saw how hated the Usuba family is from the looks everybody gave to Arata and Miyo.
Thankfully, Kiyoka appointed a female officer, Kaoruko, as a bodyguard for Miyo, and she became a great confidant to her. They both bond on the fact that they both are disliked in the base, as Miyo is feared for her powers and seen as a burden, and Kaoruko is looked down upon for being a woman. They become good friends, and hopefully, we will see more of their bond in the next episode.
Another interesting aspect is that we saw the connection Usui had with Miyo’s mother and understood their relationship a bit more.

Verdict
This episode was much more interesting than the previous one, and this part of the story is definitely more intriguing. Is Miyo really the main antagonist’s daughter? If so, will he take her away and use her? If not, what does he plan to do with her?
