The preview begins with Ji-woong (Choi Jin-hyuk) realising that Ko Won (Baek Seo-hoo) was not the intended target for the acid attack. The scene turns to the club and Ji-woong helps Mi-jin (Jung Eun-ji) get rid of a person attacking her. He is shocked to see her but the viewers don’t know how she will get out of this situation.

He becomes protective of her and suddenly, they are in a situation where Ji-woong is covered in mud while moving the car forward. She takes him home and gives him her mother’s clothes. She questions his care towards her. He retorts by saying that she isn’t just ‘anyone’ and it seems like Mi-jin has fallen for him all over again.

Lim Sun (Lee Jung-eun) and Ko Won become fast friends, on the other hand,  as he finds her words comforting. It seems like something is brewing between them – is it friendship or is it more? Mi-jin finds herself in a bad situation as high schoolers push her around in the night and she cowers in fear. The serial killer is also on the run for his next victim and it seems like Mi-jin could be next.

Lim Sun overhears Ji-woong’s harsh words about her and feels bad. The words he used hurt her deeply and soon, she finds herself drunkenly entering his apartment as Mi-jin. She holds his face and calls him mean and unfeeling. She also accidentally head-butts him in the face. The preview ends with a sober Mi-jin trying to escape from his house when he catches her – shocking her.

With all these different storylines running in the next episode – how will Mi-jin, Lim Sun, Ji-woong and Ko Won’s relationships change? Will it be better or worse? Will Mi-jin be able to hide her secret for long?

Lim Sun becomes the office aide for Ji-woong, despite initial hesitation. Ji-woong dislikes working with older people and plots to make Lim Sun quit. However, Lim Sun impresses by completing a difficult task flawlessly, foiling their plans.

Lim Sun impresses by creating an Excel sheet from a disorganized box of bills. She also surprises by handling a complex dinner order. As she bikes home, she transforms back into Mi-jin, puzzling Ko Won.

At home, Mi-jin’s mother massages her tired legs and advises her to save some money for the future instead of asking for gifts from her first paycheck. Lim Sun successfully completes a challenging task by lunchtime, unknowingly thwarting Ji-woong’s evil plans. Later, Ji-woong investigates the Ko Won acid incident, uncovering a larger criminal operation than expected.

Ji-woong tells Mi-jin she witnessed a crime and promises to protect her. They grow closer and soon fall in love. Meanwhile, Ga-yeong searches for a lost cat, and Ju Byung-deok plans an undercover operation to uncover a drug racket. Lim Sun insists on helping and joins them in entering the club to assist them. She turns into Mi-jin and is able to enter the club.

Ji-woong gets worried that the operation will be bust but he does not realise that Mi-jin enters a VIP room to meet some guests. They look high and she tries to get evidence but she is not subtle about it. Without wasting any time, Ji-woong masterfully fights the bodyguards and looks for Lim Sun when he hears a high-pitched scream from another room. The episode ends with Mi-jin being harassed by one of the drugged-up guests.
