Love Scout OST: Songs as Beautiful as Eun-ho, Ji-yun and Their Love Story

We have to talk about Love Scout OST after the end of our beloved show, so here we are! With songs that suit the beauty of Eun-ho and Ji-yun’s wonderfully captivating story, these songs show how their relationship develops slowly. Bringing together their vibes and the maturity of their ways, this tracklist is a melody to our ears which also takes us back to the beginning of their story.

Love Scout (나의 완벽한 비서) follows a young passionate CEO of a headhunting company who puts everything she has into her work. While she flourishes at her job, she isn’t the best at anything outside of her work. Thus, her secretary takes care of everything else while she focuses on her work. This is their story, and how these two come together. Directed by Ham Joon-ho, the drama stars Han Ji-min, Lee Joon-hyuk, Kim Do-hoon, Kim Yoon-hye and other cast members.

The plot of this show was certainly one of the best this year when it comes to romance, and let us agree: We all fell for this story or some character in it. While the plot, the actors, and the vibe of the show were wonderful, we cannot stop talking about the OST, which was just as wonderful. The list begins with Paul Blanco’s soothing voice as he sings out the lyrics of Test Me, a song that shows the shifting emotions between our beloved couple. As new feelings begin to grow between the two, they try to see if these feelings are theirs alone or are reciprocated by the other too. A song that is beautiful, soothing, and heartfelt to listen to.

How You Feelin by Kwon Jin-ah

Taking us to Ji-yun’s point of view, we have Kwon Jin-ah’s beautiful voice as she sings How You Feelin and brings to us the feelings of our beloved Ji-yun. As she slowly finds herself falling for Eun-ho, she wonders if he feels the same and wishes to dive deep into his heart.

Like a Moonlight by Sam Kim

Like a Moonlight by Sam Kim not only shows Eun-ho’s deep feelings but also his promise of what he is ready to give Ji-yun if given a chance. He is ready to give her all his love and be by her side at all times, whenever she needs him. This song is like his promise to always be by side no matter how the world tries to change her.

More and More by MRCH

MRCH brings Ji-yun’s wish to know More and More about Eun-ho, a curiosity or a wish to know him as much as possible. We can see the beginning of her love for him right through this song as she wishes to enter his world and know everything about him, so that she too can enter it one day.

Run to You by hiko

Bringing us the little bumps in the road to Ji-yun and Eun-ho’s love, hiko sings Run to You which beautifully brings these scenes together. The lyrics not only show their longing for each other but also the deep feelings they hold for each other, making it impossible for them to stay away.

Bringing us Ji-yun’s journey to healing, Answer sung by Minnie of (G)I-dle beautifully sings out the lyrics of this journey and leaves us enchanted by her voice. As she lays bear Ji-yun’s fragile side, her insecurities and more, this song captures the essence of Ji-yun’s journey and leaves us caught in its magic.

Special Track: Always Be With You by Paul Kim

Finally, we have a special track by Paul Kim as he brings us Always Be With You and has us caught in a magic that never fails the audience. The song not only brings the love story between our lead couple but also shows how they slowly live this journey together and make us fall in love with their love.
