Bleach TYBW Part 4 Episode 1 Review
Was this a normal episode?
First of all, this was an absolute treat for Bleach fans because it focused on one of the most important characters from the series. On top of that, the anime does not waste any time and dives right into the storyline without missing a beat.
Who starts fighting whom?
In the beginning of this episode, we see Uryu fighting with Jugram. Uryu also tells Ichigo, Chad and Orihime to just leave Jugram to him. So that they could just go and confront Yhwach. On the other hand, Yoruichi fights with Askin. Even though at first it looked like Yoruichi was nicely matched with her opponent, in this episode we see that she was not at all strong enough to take Askin on properly. Their fight goes very one-sided until an unexpected help comes to save the day.
Why was Orihime relieved with Uryu?
Orihime really believed that Uryu was actually not their enemy, yet hearing it from him directly eased her mind. However, just when she and others were locked in on their journey to Yhwach, huge Quincy soldiers attacked them. At first, it looked like they were statues, but then they started to move. Thankfully, Chad offered to stay behind and deal with these new threats. He let Orihime and Ichigo go to their destination.
Did Chad fight alone?
No, Chad was helped by Ganju, who arrived to help him out. Here, Chad reiterated that Ichigo is walking the difficult path and it was their duty to clear every obstacle for him.
How does the fight between Uryu and Jugram go?
Their fight was the most balanced one in this episode. Jugram definitely outweighed Uryu with his and Yhwach’s additional powers to help him out. Yet, Uryu fared pretty well in front of him. His situation was not entirely hopeless.
What is Yhwach’s true wish?
Yhwach’s true wish was to merge all the 3 realms, even if it meant the destruction of Soul Society or the human world. He wanted a lawless society where only the Quincies would rule.
How did Yoruichi and Askin’s fight go?
Yoruichi and Askin’s fight went very badly for the former. She was seen completely defeated until Urahara came with a solution. He gave her an antidote to the poison in an unexpected manner. Plus, he also activated a more feline form of Yoruichi. She became far more lethal. However, even that could not do much damage to Askin.
What happens between Urahara and Askin?
Askin comes back stronger than ever. This time he was in a different form which he called was his Hass Hein. Not only that, but he also captured both Urahara and Yoruichi in his Gift Ball Deluxe, that was one of his biggest creations. In was apparent the now Urahara would have to fight with Askin.
What worked and what did not work?
The anime’s biggest strength is, without a doubt, its animation quality. While the story is already compelling and even refines several moments from the manga, the animation elevates the entire experience. Nearly every scene is visually stunning, making it a true feast for Bleach fans. The passion and care that went into the production are evident from start to finish. On top of that, the action sequences are expertly choreographed, delivering both spectacle and excitement.
