Adamas Overview

Adamas (아다마스) is a thriller-mystery Korean drama series directed by Park Seung-woo and stars Ji Sung in the lead double roles of Ha Woo-shin and Song Soo-hyun.

The series takes over tvN’s Wednesday-Thursday 10.30 PM KST timeslot previously occupied by Eve.

The story of the mystery-thriller follows twin brothers Soo-hyeong and Woo-shin, who discover 22 years after a grisly murder that their biological father is innocent of the crime that he is accused of committing. Now, on a time crunch to save their father from capital punishment, the two brothers, one prosecutor and the other a mystery novelist, must fight against all odds to clear his name.

In the middle of this are two other people who help them in their quest to find the truth and help their father.

Adamas Plot

Disney+ describes the series as: “Twin brothers Woo-sin and Suh-yeon lose their father in a murder case. Twenty-two years later, the brothers seek to clear their father’s name.”

Adamas Cast

The cast of the thriller drama includes Ji Sung, Seo Ji-hye, Lee Soo-kyung, Seo Hyun-woo, Oh Dae-hwan, Go Yoon and Heo Sung-tae, alongside other cast members.

Where to Watch Adamas

The series will be available to watch on tvN as well as on Disney+ in select regions.

The series consists of 16 episodes, with two episodes releasing every week on Wednesday-Thursday.

Adamas Release Date and Time

The thriller will stream from July 27 to September 15, 2022, at 10.30 PM KST. Adamas episode 12 will release on September 1, 2022, at 8.30 PM IST on Disney+.

Adamas Episode 11 Recap

Woo-shin sneaks into the chairman’s office but is surprised to find a new article regarding his father’s imprisonment. He soon escapes from there and comes back to the party hall where he is surprised to find Soo-hyeon. Right then, Ms Kwon reveals the murder committed by the chairman and comes clean to the world.

Elsewhere, Seo-hee is sent SIH with bombs strapped over her. Seeing her hand already pressing the detonator, Hyuk-pil ties her hand to the control with duct tape. He also prepares snipers to kill her but is unable to do so and goes ahead to protect her himself. While the bombs are removed from her body, a time bomb and the detonator leave the group confused.

Seo-hee then understands that the real bomb is somewhere else. On the other hand, leader Lee threatens Woo-shin to get the real Adamas as the one that they had was a fake.
