No Regrets in Life (Love Happened in Three Days, 愛情發生在三天後) is a Taiwanese romance-drama TV series directed by Fung Kai and starring Annie Chen, Liu Guan Ting, Shih Ming-shuai, Summer Meng, JC Lin, and Aggie Hsieh, alongside other cast members. The series will be 13 episodes long, airing new episodes every Saturday from June 18, 2022. No Regrets in Life episode 12 has a runtime of 70 minutes.

No Regrets in Life episode 12 starts off at the television station where Ning Yu Zhou is in the middle of an interview along with Bi Jia Da who talks about how he fell for her and their relationship till now. He then gets up and brings flowers for Yu Zhou, but the latter has noticed the eye contact he has with Dou Kou which reveals that they had planned what is to come next.
He then gets down on his knees and proposes to her during the live interview but she keeps thinking about Wang Yan the whole time and rejects his proposal. She then storms out of the place as the internet goes crazy about this love triangle.
Later, Dou Kou comes to reprimand Yu Zhou and calls her insensitive and whatnot because of her actions. It even gets to the point where she slaps her and is about to storm out when Yu Zhou stops her. She apologises for her behaviour and tells her that her relationship with Jia Da was a mess right from the start.

She then tells her that she is the right person for Jia Da and should take the next step with him. Yu Zhou also asks her to apologise on her behalf and wishes the two a happy life.
Dou Kou apologises for her irrational behaviour and leaves for Jia Da’s house. There she diverts his mind by focusing on his plans for the future and his upcoming schedule. Even when he tries to ask about Yu Zhou, she continues to not hear his questions.
And just like that, he understands his priorities and moves on to his next job. Upon asking one last time, Dou Kou relays Yu Zhou’s apology and best wishes to him. He hopes the same for her and the two move on. A flashback shows that Dou Kou was the one who had left a message for him after his play all those years back which he mistook to be from Yu Zhou.
Elsewhere, Yu Zhou has come back to her parent’s house for some peace and quiet time when the Nine Suns barge her with messages asking about her whereabouts. She lets them know where she is and stops the conversation.

On the other hand, Wang Yan is waiting for his flight while reminiscing the moments he spent with Yu Zhou during the four years and the number of times he failed to confess his feelings to her.
The next day Yu Zhou receives a package from Wang Yan which contains an origami frog that they had spent a long time making along with the 60 years plan book. The same book that he had prepared for the two of them.
The Nine Suns are wondering about Wang Yan’s whereabouts and start a cyber manhunt for him which soon bears results as the people at the airport tell him that the Nine Suns are urgently looking for him. He makes his way back only to be barged by their comments about what Yu Zhou did.

No Regrets in Life Episode 12 Ending
No Regrets in Life episode 12 ends with Wang Yan rushing to see her in her hometown and trying to talk to Yu Zhou, but she is not ready to accept him. She tells him that the time when Jia Da was proposing to her, it was him that she was thinking about the whole time. However, she cannot accept him because he made her wait 3 days back then and just barged into her life again.
Seeing her walk away like this he texts the nine suns that he will do what he had planned eight years back for their graduation day. The group is excited about the upcoming fun and soon makes preparations for the same.
The girls get Yu Zhou to their college and surprise her by preparing impromptu graduation for Wang Yan and her. After the funny yet emotional ceremony, they take her outside after some time.
There, she sees Wang Yan jumping from the first floor, upside down, as he tells her that he had planned to recreate the scene from spiderman where he hangs upside down and kisses his girlfriend. He tells her that he wanted to make the confession a very special one but it was all ruined within those three days which he came to regret a lot.

He finally confesses his feeling to her and waits for her answer but she tells him to wait for three days and runs away.
Three days later at the concert, he tries to approach her but when things don’t go his way he pulls her to the front and then onstage as they once again take over the mic. He then shouts into the mic that it is the third day and he wants his answer to which Yu Zhou shouts “I Love You.”
The two kiss as the crowd cheers for their favourite Drumstick Guy and Shark Girl.
The episode then continues to show their harmonious relationship and the Nine Suns who have gone far in life while also getting settled. The episode then ends with Yu Zhou announcing her pregnancy and the group once again missing and thanking Xin Kai for bringing these happy days to them.

No Regrets in Life Episode 12 Review
The show has finally reached its end and while there were times when I couldn’t help but get angry at our protagonists, this ending was still beautiful. It gave us relief and made us satisfied.
I am happy with this ending not just because the two ended up together but also because we know that everyone in Nine Suns is happy. This show wasn’t just focused on Yu Zhou and Wang Yan, but also on the Nine Suns who are in every part of the show.
Though I would also like to know more about what happened to Xin Zhen, there are some ends that need to be left this way. On the other hand, while Dou Kou and Jia Da are given a nice ending, I’m disappointed.
The two may be perfect for each other but they have disappointed me since episode 11 and I’m not really liking them much in this episode either.
Altogether, I’m quite satisfied with this ending and it is good to see that there are no regrets.
