In hopes to celebrate the Korean harvest festival Chuseok, HYBE is releasing the new line of BTS Dalmajung merch this September. They previously came out with a huge collection around the same time of the year last time. Various official clothing, photocard sets, keyrings, badge sets, hand mirrors, Yut Nori kits, special photobooks, binders, etc inspired by the Korean culture were made available on the online Weverse shops for purchase.
The latest main trailer showcases the septet adorning traditional Korean attires called the Hanbok, usually worn for festivities, against the serene moonlit background.
The official YouTube channel for BTS – ‘BANGTANTV’ – had unveiled the solo Hyung line (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope) teasers earlier, and today they’ve released the remaining Maknae line (V, Jimin, and Jungkook) teasers along with the main teaser featuring the entire group together. The seven together look nothing short of a star-studded cast of a potential K-drama series. The previews depict their enchanting visuals at their glorious best, while the moonlit night compliments the ethereal concept.

And as always, photos of the BTS members sporting the elegant Hanbok are doing rounds on various social media platforms as their fans (ARMYs) rejoice in the visual beauty and aesthetic of the concept.
The word Dalmajung can be split into ‘Dal’ and ‘Majung’ to decipher its meaning. ‘Dal’ refers to the moon and ‘Majung’ or ‘Majeong’ means to meet. When put together, it explains the importance of the festival Chuseok, which is also believed to be a ‘thanksgiving’ event. During this mid-autumn celebration, the members of the family reunite and thank their ancestors for the harvest they’ve earned during the year while a full moon lights up their surroundings.
Even though all that is to be included in this merch drop hasn’t been announced yet, the ARMYs are all ready to splurge their savings on the upcoming list of items to expand their BTS collection. One thing that is definitely bound to happen is that the merch line will release a huge collection of photo cards that ARMYs can’t resist without a doubt.
