Tower of God Season 2 Episode 5 Recap
This episode begins with a flashback. Khun remembers a time when Bam was still an innocent boy, untouched by betrayal. In this memory, Endorsi invites Bam on a date, but he doesn’t take her too seriously, even picking a flower to give to Rachel later. Fast forward to the present, Khun is informed about a talented but dangerous slayer on the 20th floor. He then meets Edin, a scout.
Edin is a speedster who has never let anyone surpass him on his way to the 25th floor. Despite his skills, he refuses to team up with any regulars for reasons unknown. Khun wants to recruit him, but Edin’s reluctance leads Khun to propose a bet. If Edin wins, he gets a Suspendium, but if he loses, he must join Khun. Khun’s strategic and calculated approach to the bet shows his ruthless genius.

Khun’s relentless methods make him a difficult person to evade once he sets his sights on you. His new subordinates’ reactions indicate that this isn’t the first time Khun has used such tactics. Later, Khun meets Rachel, treating her with kindness, which is infuriating considering she tried to kill Bam.
Rachel continues to play the victim, even shedding tears and mentioning Bam’s death to gain sympathy from Khun. However, Khun is too clever to be fooled by her manipulations, unlike Bam. He is perceptive enough to see through Rachel’s act, recognizing her true intentions to use others to climb the tower.
