What happens after Kang-wook and Yeo-ri see the child ghost?

Kang-wook and Yeo-ri see the new ghost and realise that he was trying to take them somewhere. When they both follow the child, they go to a car crash site. They find the child was in a car accident with his father and sister. This was a tragic scene, and Kang-wook finally realises how Yeo-ri had obtained information about all the previous crime scenes.

Does Kang-wook start to see more ghosts after that?

Yes, Yeo-ri tells him that he will continue to see ghosts for a month, and if he stays away from her, after a month he will go back to being normal. Here, Kang-wook also feels bad for Yeo-ri because he understands that this was the reason she stayed away from people for all these years. She just did not want to hurt anyone with her abilities.

How did Kang-wook fare with his fate?

Kang-wook did not like what was happening to him. He absolutely hated seeing ghosts and got traumatised wherever he saw someone. He was also suffering from sleep paralysis a lot and could not work properly later. His situation became so bad that one night he just went directly to Yeo-ri to ask for her help. Yeo-ri finally calmed him down, and they decided to work together to help Kang-wook get through the month.

How did Yeo-ri help Kang-wook?

She was constantly there to guide Kang-wook on how to ignore the ghosts. Kang-wook also learned to sleep through the commotion whenever ghosts tried to wake him up at night. He was also instructed to use salt as a way to drive stray spirits away. However, Yeo-ri still stayed physically away from Kang-wook, as she did not want to hamper his progress.

Did Kang-wook stop seeing ghosts after a month?

Yes, he did stop seeing them, but he also felt bad as Yeo-ri would not keep in touch with him anymore. In the month he spent talking to Yeo-ri, he became quite attached to her, and he became attached to him. He was the only one who knew Yeo-ri’s secrets, so she was also able to confide in him freely.

Do we find out why Yeo-ri sees ghosts?

Yes, we finally learn that Yeo-ri was in an accident when she was in college. She was at sea and fell from a boat. At that time, he jumped in to save her. Yeo-ri survived, but her friend did not. From then on, she not only saw him, but also other ghosts.

What happens to Kang-wook in the end?

Kang-wook lands himself in a grave situation as he tries to protect Yeo-ri. This was a pretty bad situation for him, and he almost died. Towards the end, we also see the story hinting at Kang-wook’s death. But as he is the hero, he is most likely completely fine.

What worked and what did not work?

The chemistry between the leads has improved significantly. Story-wise, however, it has started to drift into familiar, cliché territory. It’s still an enjoyable watch, but it doesn’t offer anything particularly fresh or different from other rom-coms.

  1. I love it! I like both actors playing in lead roles. But I will be so devastated if the ML have dies
In the last episode. I can’t and won’t take it.

  2. It’s so mind boggling that reviews of this drama is disappointing. The drama has a great story n amazing chemistry between the cast let alone the lead Eun Bin n Yang. I leaning more to this new overhauled version which is far better than Spellbound. The dramas out there r a little subtle for me. Iam 74 years old. I have seen so many movies n dramas. I quit watching American made movies n dramas which r extremely redundant n full of nudity n vile languages
