The Instagram account of SBS Drama Official has released new stills of its upcoming comedy-drama Today’s Webtoon. The Korean series is directed by Jo Soo-won, starring Kim Se-jeong, Choi Daniel, Nam Yoon-su, and other cast members. The Japanese manga-based drama is eagerly being looked forward to and is sure to be a must-watch!

The plot of Today’s Webtoon revolves around a judo player Oh Ma-eum (Kim Se-jeong) who has to quit the sport due to torn ankle ligament, leaving her with unfulfilled dreams and having to start anew. Her first job is at a webtoon editorial department but the athlete is finding it hard to blend in with her new reality and her coworkers. She faces a stream of challenges but is able to get through them with the help of her coworkers, and she soon finds a new goal for herself.

In the stills released, we see the two sides of our protagonist Oh Ma-eum, one as a member of the webtoon editorial team and the other as a Judo player. She is accompanied by Ko Chang-seok who is with her through both her careers. The young and energetic judo player character played by Kim Se-jeong looks youthful and attractive in her Judo uniform as aspirations for the future are seen on her face.

The drama is giving us some interesting glimpses before its premiere, building up our excitement for the show.

Today’s Webtoon is sure to give us a lot of insights about the webtoon editorial team and the effort that they put into bringing us some of our favourite stories. It will also show the competition that exists in the industry which is not always easy, especially if you are alone.
