The Potato Lab: All to Know

The Potato Lab Plot

Bringing a refreshing romance between two slightly screwed adults and set in a potato research centre in the mountains, this is a show that is ready to go as crazy as possible.

Kim Mi-gyeong is a potato researcher with 12 years of experience at the Potato Research Institute and is known as a person crazy about potatoes. While she may look like an unemployed person at first glance, the image soon falls when she opens her mouth and starts spouting biological terms. She is working on a secret project at the research institute to create a good potato called “Mi Gyeong”.

So Baek-ho has been appointed as the new director of the Potato Research Institute. With a deadly smile, soft voice, and beautiful visuals that look to be straight out of a romance novel, it doesn’t take him long to charm anyone out there. But unlike his extravagant appearance, he is an outsider and does well on his own despite having no personal life to speak of, no friends, and a bit of vulgarity.

The first encounter between these two individuals isn’t the best, with Mi-gyeong bickering with Baek-ho. However, she soon finds herself attracted to him and ends up having an in-office romance with him despite vowing to never do it again. But with such varying personalities, will the two be able to be together? What will be the result of this office romance?
