The Good Bad Mother Episode 6 Preview: When, Where and How to Watch!

The Good Bad Mother (나쁜엄마) is a Korean comedy-drama slice-of-life TV series directed by Shim Na-yeon, written by Bae Se-young and stars Ra Mi-ran, Lee Do-hyun, Ahn Eun-jin and Yoo In-soo in main roles. The series is all set to release on JTBC and Netflix (in select regions) and will take over JTBC’s Wed-Thurs 10:30 PM timeslot previously occupied by Interest of Love.

Mi-ran was last seen in 2022’s Dr. Park’s Clinic as Sa Mo-rim, Do-hyun was in Netflix’s hit The Glory and The Glory Part 2 as Joo Yeo-jung and in 2021’s Melancholia as Baek Seung-yoo. Meanwhile, Eun-jin was last seen in 2021’s The One and Only as Pyo In-sook, and In-soo was Park Dang-gu in the popular Alchemy of Souls and Alchemy of Souls Season 2: Light and Shadow.

The slice-of-life series follows Young-soon and her son Kang-ho who share a tumultuous relationship with each other thanks to her strict parenting when he was a child. Now an adult, Kang-ho is a cold-hearted prosecutor who chooses to keep his distance from her mother and lives in the city. However, when a tragedy strikes, Kang-ho is forced to return home to the village, wherein he finds a new lease of life and rebuilds his relationship with his mother as well as with his childhood friend Mi-joo.

The Good Bad Mother Plot

Netflix describes the series: “A tragic accident leaves an ambitious prosecutor with the mind of a child — forcing him and his mother to embark on a journey to heal their relationship.”

The cast of the series includes Ra Mi-ran, Lee Do-hyun, Ahn Eun-jin, Yoo In-soo, Choi Moo-sung, Jung Woong-in, Hong Bi-ra, Choi Soon-jin and Park Cheon, alongside others.

The series has 14 episodes and will release two episodes every week.

The series is expected to stream from Apr 26 to Jun 8, 2023. Episode 6 will stream on May 11 at 10.30 PM KST or 8.30 PM IST.

Despite Young-soon’s warning, Kang-ho finds himself in trouble once again while Mi-joo tries to draw a line between herself and Kang-ho. But there is more trouble to come Young-soon’s way when the village plans to betray her while she finds herself in the hospital.

The Good Bad Mother Episode 5 Recap

Surprise and memories come Mi-joo’s way upon her return to the village while Kang-ho cannot stop the feelings he experiences when looking at Mi-joo. Baek continues to cause trouble for Young-soon, but when their exchange gets them to the police station, Kang-ho’s recollection surprises Young-soon. Later, an attack is made on Kang-ho when he is alone at home.

The Good Bad Mother is streaming on Netflix.
