The Good Bad Mother Episode 4 Twitter Reactions: Patience Runs Thin for Fans Waiting to See the New Emotional Drama

Netflix boasts a wide range of K-dramas, and they only seem to be getting better, as The Good Bad Mother Episode 4 Twitter reactions reveal. Also known as, 나쁜엄마, this is a Korean comedy-drama slice-of-life TV series directed by Shim Na-yeon, written by Bae Se-young and stars Ra Mi-ran, Lee Do-hyun, Ahn Eun-jin and Yoo In-soo in main roles. The series is all set to release on JTBC and Netflix (in select regions) and will take over JTBC’s Wed-Thurs 10:30 PM timeslot previously occupied by Interest of Love.

This show is exactly the emotional rollercoaster they had promised initially. The episode starts with Kang-ho playing with Ye-jin and Seo-jin while his mother tries to say goodbye to the pigs. Meanwhile, we see an incredibly emotional conversation between mother and son after their tumultuous relationship in the past that hinged on her being the stout authority figure and him being the meek little child he was.

However, now that they have the opportunity to revisit their relationship, it would do well to make some changes in their life and be good to each other. This could be a chance to rewrite history and build a relationship with each other based on trust and mutual respect. Even though his mental and physical ages are different, Young-soon, his mother, assures him that he is not stupid, so there is no reason to feel frustrated or angry.

In the meantime, his childhood friend Mi-joo is not doing so well. She was supposed to work with a colleague, but he was a rather unreliable character who robs her and runs off to Los Angeles. She is left to fend for herself when she is reminded of the time she had with Kang-ho. The days when she made a promise to him that he could pass his bar exam. But all these happy memories only seem to remain for her because Young-soon has to deal with the fact that her son is a crook who puts away innocent people.

Even strangers on the street know his work as someone who is callous and doesn’t care for the system but is willing to extort it for personal gain. Young-soon cannot handle that truth and comes home to berate and beat her son for not being an upstanding citizen of society. Obviously, Kang-ho is unaware of this development. He has no recollection of it. These are the kind of emotionally charged scenes that viewers feel encompass the essence of what this show is supposed to be.

Meanwhile, there are some who are too moved to reply in any coherent sentences, instead just reiterating that this show may very well kill them by the end. Others are all too excited for the next episode to come as fast as possible, and more are waiting to exchange theories about regarding the upcoming episodes.

Many have also taken to creating buzz for the prestigious Baeksang Award because of Lee Do-hyun, who has managed to steal hearts in this drama, thanks to his stellar acting skills. While this may be an emotional show, the fan reactions are too hilarious not to include.
