Did Kang-wook really die and come back to Yeo-ri as a ghost?
No, Kang-wook did not really die, and he actually woke up from his unconscious state. Yeo-ri just thought that he died and cried after hugging him.
Does Yeo-ri leave after seeing Kang-wook healthy?
No, Yeo-ri decides to stay with him till morning and help him out with the ghosts, as he could still see them. Yeo-ri rested on the couch in the same room Kang-wook stayed in the hospital. At that time, a romantic moment transpired between them, and it became clear that Kang-wook was interested in Yeo-ri. However, their romantic moment did not last as Yeo-ri clearly told Kang-wook not to meet her anymore.
Will there be a rivalry between Kang-wook and Min-hwan?
In this episode, Min-hwan clearly presented himself as the second male lead in front of Kang-wook. Kang-wook also started to see Min-hwan as a potential rival when Min-hwan rescued Yeo-ri from journalists, something that Kang-wook wanted to do. Not only that, but Min-hwan also tried to assert dominance in front of Kang-wook by guiding Yeo-ri while looking at him. We later get to know that such an action clearly bothered Kang-wook very much.
Do Kang-wook and Yeo-ri meet again after Yeo-ri told him not to get involved with her?
Yes, they meet in a very unexpected way. Yeo-ri was at an event with Min-hwan, and Kang-wook was there with someone else. Something happens at this event, and everyone runs away. However, Kang-wook comes back to find Yeo-ri alone and tries to tell her how he could still see ghosts, a lie he made up on the spot. Yeo-ri obviously caught his lie, and then Kang-wook again tries to make up an excuse, saying that they should work together. She would provide him with information, and he would solve the cases. However, before he could convince her further, Min-hwan came back, and Kang-wook went away with quite an angry look.
What kind of case do we get this time?
This time Yeo-ri deals with a historical case involving a Prince and his Courtesan. However, that is not all; before diving into this case, Yeo-ri gets involved in another case to distract herself from the relationship trouble that she suddenly started to have.
What was the relationship status at the end of this episode between Kang-wook and Yeo-ri?
Kang-wook was extremely jealous of Min-hwan, and on the other hand, Yeo-ri was also jealous of the woman who always stayed beside Kang-wook. Apart from that, news broke out that Yeo-ri was dating Min-hwan, which made Kang-wook very mad. Towards the end, a very funny yet romantic segment confirmed that both Kang-wook and Yeo-ri have developed feelings for each other.
What worked and what did not work?
Overall, this was a really sweet episode that developed the relationship naturally. The new ghost cases keep the story interesting, and I also feel that Min-hwan has a much bigger role to play than it seems right now. It would be exciting if he isn’t just the typical second lead and is actually connected to Yeo-ri’s past and her ability to see ghosts.
