When and Where to Watch Queen Cleopatra? All About the Docudrama

Queen Cleopatra is an upcoming docudrama that will be premiering on Netflix. From executive producer Jada Pinkett Smith, the series follows Cleopatra of Egypt, the world’s most famous, powerful, and misunderstood woman. The show is directed by Tina Gharavi and Victoria Adeola Thomas, Michael ‘Mikey’ J Asante gives the music, and Sean Francis is credited as the cinematographer. The series will consist of a total of 4 episodes with a runtime of approximately 40-55 minutes each.

The show consists of an ensemble cast who will be portraying various prominent historical names. Starring Adele James as Cleopatra, she takes up the role of the formidable woman. Craig Russell, Nada El Belkasmi, Sami Fekkak and more will be featured to play other important roles. Many other historians, researchers, investigators, and archaeologists will also be interviewed about the important historical events.

The series will showcase the various aspects of the Queen’s life through dramatic re-creation of the events. Moreover, the main intention of the creators is to display the side of the woman that is often ignored by the world, especially Hollywood. Her beauty and romances overshadow her real personality, traits and her forgotten asset: her intellect. The series will re-assess this fascinating part of her story.

Additionally, the show will also include all the major events that caused tremendous catastrophes within the kingdoms and how her involvement completely changed the trajectory of many lives. Not just her involvement, but it will also include the instances in that she took control over and dictated her power. Known for being daring and brave, the show will finally showcase the parts that the audience very rarely gets to witness.

Along with the dramatic scenes, the series will contain interviews from prominent personalities providing their invaluable insights about the legendary woman. They will also provide shreds of evidence from their intricate investigation and map out each moment that completely changed history. Furthermore, a healthy and genuine discussion surrounding her life will be done in an effective way.
