One Dollar Lawyer (천원짜리 변호사/One Thousand Won Lawyer) is a Korean legal drama series directed by Kim Jae-hyun, starring Namkoong Min, Kim Ji-eun, Choi Dae-hoon, Lee Deok-hwa, Park Jin-woo and Lee Chung-ah alongside other cast members. Namkoong Min was last seen in 2021’s The Veil, while Kim Ji-eun was last seen in Again My Life.
The series takes up SBS’ Friday-Saturday 10 PM KST timeslot, previously occupied by Today’s Webtoon. One Dollar Lawyer episode 10 has a runtime of 68 minutes.

One Dollar Lawyer episode 10 starts with Ji-hun looking through several identification cards and then telling Cho Woo-seok, the man who admitted to stabbing Ju-yeong, that he knows that he is not the one who killed her. Woo-seok tells Ji-hun that he’s right and that he will be able to get the real murderer if they show him a photo – thus explaining Ji-hun going through those IDs.
And, he’s the same guy who killed the guy in the black car under the bridge in the last episode.
As the police investigate the murder the next day, Ji-hun meets a new client in his office who says that he has a dirty past that he needs to take care of. Although denying helping him at first, Ji-hun takes him on as a client after he mentions that they seem to be struggling, and Ji-hun charges him 1000 won per second. Kim Soon-ho, or Min-chul, seems to be completely fine with the exorbitant amount.
After Min-chul leaves, interestingly, Ma-ri, Ji-hun and Mu-jang are left baffled that their surprise client’s ID card didn’t print his face. Ji-hun knows who this man is – the person who murdered Ju-yeong. However, even though he gives chase, he is unable to catch him. Back in the office, however, he doesn’t share his concerns with the others.
The three of them try to figure out a way to get his face somewhere but are left empty-handed. Ma-ri, however, realizes that this is someone who is tied to Ji-hun’s past somehow and follows him only to be ambushed and then having to make up a silly excuse. They have a cute banter session over some beer and eventually, Ma-ri asks him whether he is searching for someone and offers to help him.

Ji-hun refuses, but Ma-ri brings up the wish that he owes her and he reluctantly gives in, not wanting to disappoint her. The next day, Ji-hun catches Ma-ri and Mu-jang drawing something secretive and they employ their time and efforts to help their colleague. The three try to draw Min-chul, and after hilariously failed attempts from the two men, Ma-ri comes out with a realistic portrayal of the wanted man.
They take the sketch to Woo-seok, who recognizes him after some light prodding. The three next go to the gambling house that Woo-seok mentioned but find it turned into a godown/chicken place. They strongarm the chicken place guy to give them the address of the gambling house and go off on an adventure. Meanwhile, Min-hyeok tries to think like the killer and goes on his own adventure and finds some interesting evidence.
At the gambling house, the three of them are shocked to enter Neverland – which almost looks like a fair where everyone’s counting money. It honestly looks like a great time there; just that, be ready to lose a ton of money!
Anyway, the three of them decide to have some fun anyway and win big. Unfortunately for Ma-ri and Mu-jang, their gambling prowess falls short while Ji-hun just wins big time, earning them a trip to the back office.

However, the back office guys ask them to leave respectfully, which Ji-hun refuses to do, even refusing to take their money. Instead, he asks them for information on Min-chul and after some prodding, they get their next location to rush to. That location turns out to be Fire Bear’s office once more, and he finally gives Ji-hun the details of his knowledge about Min-chul.
Elsewhere, Min-chul’s boss seems to be giving him cold sweats, while Ye-jin and Min-hyeok get shockingly close to him. As a chase ensues between the two, Ye-jin gets into an accident and loses sight of her target but is able to get her hands on the envelope that Min-chul’s boss gave him.
The envelope eventually ends up in Ji-hun’s hands, and the three of them decide to go to the party in their delivery van, dressed to the nines. It’s honestly a sight to behold. Fortunately for us, even Ye-jin and Min-hyeok get to the party – all of them after one person.
One Dollar Lawyer Episode 10 Ending
Eventually, Ji-hun finds Min-chul and follows him down a hallway, wherein he meets a bunch of people headed by Baek Hyun-mu. Ju-yeong’s words come back to haunt him as he watches him walk away, leaving him to follow Min-chul again. He picks up a sword and follows the guy through throngs of people with knives, all the while thinking of Ju-yeong’s last moments and getting ready to strike her assailant.
Ma-ri sees what’s going on, and in the last scene, a bewildered Min-chul looks at Ji-hun walking towards him.
One Dollar Lawyer Episode 10 Review
Is it just me, or is it delightful that Ma-ri has become so much like her eccentric colleagues? It warms my heart to watch the three of them have fun and share some banter together. The humorous moments among the three are my favourite to watch – which has been heightened after learning about Ji-hun’s past, for some reason.
Other than that, the mystery is a solid one, and even if the show doesn’t bring forth any other twist, I would be satisfied with learning Hyun-mu’s role in this mess. I now understand why he probably sent Ma-ri to Ji-hun in the first place. However, what exactly is the man up to? What are his motivations (other than money)? So many questions, such less episodes.
Either way, One Dollar Lawyer episode 10 is delightful, and I’m rooting for Ji-hun to get his justice.
