My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 11 Recap

This episode stands out as one of the best in the series, keeping me on the edge of my seat. It begins with Bakugo’s capture by Tomura, prompting everyone to rush to his aid. The “big three” heroes, now joined by Mirio alongside Nejire and Tamaki, take the forefront. Mirio quickly becomes crucial in the battle due to his ability to approach Tomura without much difficulty.

Their plan to temporarily rescue Bakugo is successful, though he sustains injuries. Despite being battered, Bakugo doesn’t retreat; instead, he strategizes and plans his attacks, even while crying profusely. The intense fight between the big three and Tomura ensues. Although they can’t inflict life-threatening injuries on Tomura, they manage to keep him occupied, preventing him from targeting Bakugo. Tomura aims to harm Bakugo to hurt Deku, his main adversary.

Another significant revelation in this episode is the lingering presence of the young, desolate boy within Tomura. He reacts aggressively when Mirio suggests he must have grown up without friends, defensively asserting otherwise. This moment highlights Tomura’s internal struggle and alienation.

The second half of the episode escalates in intensity. The big three devise a plan requiring all their involvement, particularly utilizing Tamaki’s quirk. Tamaki undergoes a wild transformation, incorporating features of multiple creatures to land a strike on Tomura. However, the shock is when Bakugo gets killed by Tomura.

In this episode, we might see Bakugo still being alive. At least I think such an important character like him will not die so easily. We might also see Deku finally arriving at the spot where Shigaraki is and fighting with him. Deku will absolutely lose his mind and try to bring Bakugo to life.
