My Dearest Nemesis Episode 8 Reactions: The Short-Lived Dating Era Leaves Fans with Butterflies and Heartbreak

My Dearest Nemesis Episode 8 reactions are out and while a majority of these speak about the lovely dating era of our protagonists, they end with heartbreak and a dreadful feeling for the couple. The episode brought in a heartwarming feeling of love for fans as the couples all went through a period of happiness, but the ending left us anticipating what would happen in the upcoming week.

The show (그놈은 흑염룡) follows the reunion of two people as acquaintances at work who met through an online game which ended in a sudden breakup. While online romance doesn’t play out to be as perfect as Moon Ga-young’s characters hoped for, she holds on to a grudge for years into the future.

Coming back to the latest episode begins with the long-awaited dating era of our beloved chaotic couple- Su-jeong and Ju-yeon, who have snuck into our hearts with their individual charm that only increased when they started to show up together. They truly know how to get us laughing and crying within moments through their story, their resilience, their actions and their expressions. And now, these two have crossed all bounds as they bring in some of the best moments of the show to us.

As one fan writes on X, “juyeon and sujeong’s relationship is one of the healthiest i’ve ever seen. they care for eo, notice the smallest details and are very sincere abt their feelings #MyDearestNemesis #MyDearestNemesisEp8”

Meanwhile, our Ha-jin and Shin-won couple is also bringing their warmth to us all with their dating era and there is no denying that this is one of the best second-lead couples we’ve seen. As one fan writes, “”because I like you” WHILE SMILING LIKE THAT!>?!?!?!?! This couple is my ride or die because HOW ARE THEY SO ADORABLE! Also, her being a divorcee just warms my heart bc all women are gonna love and live #MyDearestNemesisEp8 #MyDearestNemesis”

However, the highlight of the episode remains the final scene where Black Dragon (Choi Hyun-wook) and Strawberry (Moon Ga-young) come face to face and leave us all heartbroken by their short dating era. These two were adorable while they lasted, and now it is time for new chaos to erupt as the two need to work together despite their history together. Meanwhile, fans are saddened by this turn of events and they take to X to show their feelings.

One fan wrote, “well that was the shortest love story that happened in kdramaland literally they were all in love and happy only for 30 minutes kshxvshxvcjx my shaylass #MyDearestNemesisEp8 #MyDearestNemesis”

Another fan writes, “*sigh* i love this show so much but i find it absolutely ridiculous that they’re still so sensitive about their first loves and that whole thing like you both were teenagers it’s been over 15 years don’t make it a problem you’re both grown adults now #MyDearestNemesisEp8”

The episode has surely brought a drastic turn to the plot that has left us with an anticipation for what the upcoming week would bring to the show. With many questions about the couple’s relationship circulating in our heads, fans are taking up to X and other sites to discuss how the plot is going to change henceforth. Meanwhile, the show is clearly moving towards the end with an intriguing pace, bringing us a wonderful experience that only gets better when discussing the happenings of the show with other fans.
