Mission: Yozakura Family Episode 19 Recap

In this episode, Aoi and Inugami attempt to infiltrate Tanpopo’s new base of operations. Unfortunately, their efforts are thwarted as they fall into a trap, leading to the warehouse being destroyed. While they escape unharmed, it becomes evident that no one has solid information about Tanpopo’s true location.

Meanwhile, Mutsumi reflects on her father’s betrayal and his cryptic words. The Yozakura family is desperately searching for Tanpopo’s whereabouts and trying to uncover Momo’s true intentions. They’re also investigating Tanpopo’s smuggling operations, which involve using various trade routes to transport Hazakura. However, with much of the information being unreliable, the Yozakura family is spread out, each pursuing different leads.

Taiyo receives intel about Momo possibly being on a train used for smuggling. His hunch proves correct, yet he struggles to identify either Momo or Kawashita, despite their presence on the same train. During his investigation, Taiyo encounters a mysterious woman named Shirai, with whom he seems to share an unusual connection.

Here, the tension is palpable, particularly around the enigmatic figure of the Yozakura father. Although he’s part of a villainous organization, there are hints that his motives might be more complex. Despite his betrayals, it feels as though he isn’t entirely against his children, leaving his true intentions shrouded in mystery.

In the next episode, we might see Taiyo using his new powers to completely overwhelm and defeat Shirai. Even though she is supposed to be 100% compatible with Hazakura, her body is not strong enough to hold her power for a long time. Momo might also plan something new to capture his daughter.
