This episode kicks off with a light-hearted scene featuring Natsu, Lucy, and Happy, which isn’t part of the main storyline. Mercphobia, the water dragon god, is on a rampage, escalating his destruction. He even creates an ocean in the sky, lifting the sea water and using it to obliterate buildings and drown anyone in his path.

Natsu and Happy struggle to reach Mercphobia, but the water dragon’s power is overwhelming. Just when it seems all hope is lost, a new and crucial character makes an appearance.

This newcomer is one of the five Dragon Gods, a fire dragon who bears a striking resemblance to Igneel. This raises questions about his connection to Natsu’s adoptive father—are they related, or do they simply know each other? The answers are revealed in this episode, so it’s definitely not one to miss.
