Who is Yosuke?

At the beginning of this episode, we get an opening that indirectly reveals who Yosuke is. He’s a character whom we have seen with Kihachi in the past. When the first episode began, Kihachi was with his brother, and they were accompanied by two of his friends. One boy in that group had his eyes covered, and he seemed devoted to Seiroku. Yosuke is that boy with black hair.

What does he actually want with the catalogue?

My theory is that he has always been obsessed with the future that Seiroku talked about. Yosuke also admired Seiroku just like his brother Kihachi did. That is why, when the catalogue got lost, Yosuke wanted to get his hands on it as soon as possible. Most likely, he wants to get the catalogue so that he himself can make sure Seiroku’s dreams come true. However, the way he approaches these ideas is not noble. On top of that, he also does not like Kihachi, possibly because he thinks that Kihachi is not deserving enough.

What happens after Yosuke finds Inako and Kihachi?

Yosuke becomes very interested in the prospect of a marriage with Inako and takes her and the catalogue with him. However, things do not go as smoothly, and the box of the catalogue falls into a river. Yosuke goes in search of it, but later, we get to know that Inako was the one who kept it hidden with her. When she later met Kihachi, she gave the book to him.

Will there be a future between Kihachi and Inako?

Inako gets punished for not obeying her father’s orders and denying the marriage prospect with Yosuke. That is why she was kept at one of her father’s factories. However, somehow, Kihachi comes to her rescue. There, she presents the book to Kihachi, and he offers to help her out. The way they escaped the place is also very interesting, and it showcases that he’s actually a very talented inventor. Kihachi just lacks confidence in himself. And yes, there is a very high chance that a romance would bloom between Inako and Kihachi.

Do they run away?

Inako takes Kihachi through an abandoned building and tries to run away, but gets caught by Yosuke in the end. He takes his bride and the catalogue with him and then directly goes to his future father-in-law’s home. Here, he rejoices in the fact that he has finally gotten his hands on the book. Previously, Kihachi revealed his ties with Seiroku in front of everyone, and this shocked Kengo for some reason.

What happens after Yosuke gets the catalogue?

At first, it felt like Yosuke would be happy that he got the catalogue, but it is revealed that it was not what he expected it to be.  There is a high chance that they got their hands on a fake book.

What worked and what did not work?
