Mission Yozakura Family Episode 11 was funny and decent as usual. Let’s review the details of how the episode unfolded.

Mission Yozakura Family Overview Episode 10 Recap

This episode begins on a cheerful note with the gang celebrating a successful mission at the Hinagiku headquarters. They enjoy a hot pot with animals hunted by Rin, while Kyoichiro brings speciality alcohol from the Yozakura family.

However, things take a sudden turn when Rin and Kyoichiro engage in a food fight. Fortunately, they manage to settle down, and the party ends successfully. Meanwhile, Taiyo is troubled by a box he received from Kurogao, which holds the secret behind his family’s death. He fears that opening the box might lead him down a dark path like Kurogao. Comforted by his wife, they share a romantic moment that helps Taiyo regain his composure.

The episode is peppered with funny moments, including Ayaka moving into the Yozakura house as a housekeeper. While she’s there to protect Mutsumi and Taiyo, she inadvertently becomes a hazard for Taiyo. She even suspects Taiyo of cheating on Mitsumi, adding to the chaos.

This was packed with comedy, providing plenty of laughs and entertainment. Despite the serious subplot about Taiyo’s parents, the show hasn’t delved deeply into it yet.

Mission Yozakura Family Episode 11 Review And Recap

This episode starts with its usual bang as we see Taiyo training with older sister Futaba. Things are not going very well for Taiyo but he is trying his best nonetheless. Then they come back to the house and find Mutsumi looking at the album and reminiscing about past memories. Apparently, whenever the Yozakura family siblings pass the spy exam, as a family tradition, they take a photo.

This is where Futaba and Mutsumi understand that Taiyo has no idea what a spy licence is. Hence, he along with us, gets to know about the spy organisation and the ways to obtain a licence. If someone passes the spy examination they are awarded with a great many facilities and it is something that everyone craves. Taiyo also wants to attend this examination and pass it as he is a full-fledged spy by now. But there is another ultimatum that Kyoichiro forces on him, which is to pass the exam by hook or by crook because soiling the Yozakura name is not an option.

On the other hand, we get to know that Futaba is afraid of ghosts. Her fear runs deep as she has this notion that she can beat zombies but not ghosts. But there is also a sad lining to this because her fear intensified after her mother’s death when she understood that her loved ones could disappear someday and this fact made her more vulnerable than ever. Thankfully, she was able to open up about it with Taiyo.

Other than this, we also see Taiyo attending the spy exam where things do not go as planned. Here, Taiyo meets many interesting characters among which there is Hoshifuru, who flirts with anyone and everyone regardless of their age and gender. The details of the exam are very interesting and hilarious, hence, I would ask everyone to watch it and enjoy themselves.

Verdict

Today’s episode was again funny and entertaining. I liked that they got a mix of drama and comedy where on the one hand we witnessed Futaba’s worries but also saw hilarity ensue with the spy examination. If you want a light-hearted action comedy series, this one is for you. Watch this new episode on Crunchyroll.
