Mission Yozakura Family Episode 10 was funny and very random. Let’s go over the specifics of how the episode played out.

Mission Yozakura Family Overview Episode 9 Recap

Mission Yozakura Family Episode 10 Review Taiyo Is Cheating

Today’s episode took a more serious turn, diverging from the usual light-hearted tone of the anime. It begins with Taiyo discussing his family with Kuroyuri, uncovering secrets Taiyo was unaware of. Kuroyuri hints at foul play in the death of Taiyo’s family, momentarily shocking Taiyo. However, Taiyo quickly regains his composure and focuses on his mission, soon learning that the Deputy Prime Minister has been captured.

Before Taiyo can extract more information about the Minister from Kuroyuri, Kuroyuri detonates the car and escapes. The plot thickens as it’s revealed that Kuroyuri’s actions are driven by revenge rather than a desire for political power.

This episode also highlights Taiyo’s deep connection with the Yozakura family. He is now an integral part of the family, and everyone is concerned about his safety on the mission. Each family member shows their concern in their unique way, such as Nanao creating a medicine to revive Taiyo if he returns severely injured.

This episode was more serious than previous ones, offering a deeper storyline that ties into the main plot. We learn of a greater secret: someone orchestrated the death of Taiyo’s family but spared Taiyo. The identity and motives of this orchestrator remain unknown, leaving questions about their connection to the Yozakura family or their separate agenda.

Mission Yozakura Family Episode 10 Review Taiyo Is Cheating

This episode starts on a lighthearted note as we see the gang celebrating a very successful mission at the Hinagiku headquarters. They are having a hot pot with animals that are personally hunted by Rin. Here, Kyoichiro is also present with the much-needed alcohol, a specialty of the Yozakura family.

Things take a drastic turn when Rin and Kyoichiro start to fight again, but this time with food. Thankfully, they settle down, and the party successfully ends. However, Taiyo seems upset over the box that he got from Kurogao as this box contains the secret behind his family’s death. He is afraid that after opening the box, he might become vengeful like Kurogao and start to commit heinous acts just like him. But this time he gets consoled by his wife, and they share a romantic moment that brings Taiyo back to reality.

But this episode is also filled with other random moments that were equally funny. Here, we see that Ayaka has started to live in the Yozakura house as a housekeeper. She is there to protect both Mutsumi and Taiyo but, at the same time, it seems she is a hazard for Taiyo. Not only that, but she starts to suspect that Taiyo is cheating on Mitsumi, and with that, we get more chaos.

Today’s episode was again full of comedy elements that make you laugh throughout and keep you entertained. Even though there is a serious angle now about Taiyo’s parents, we are still not exploring that bit.  I’m pretty sure we will get more info on it in future episodes. There is also a possibility that Taoyo’s parent’s death is linked with the Yozakura family.

Verdict

I liked today’s episode as it was full of fun and excitement. The conclusion is also a light and not-so-serious one that depicts just how much Taiyo cares for his family. So, if you are into a happy-go-lucky series, then this is definitely something that should be on your list.
