Last Bullet Ending Explained
The story opens 2 years after Lino’s arrest – Areski is living under a different name to get away from his enemies, but the bullet eventually reaches him when Resz decides to get rid of him and save his skin once and for all. Areski goes on the run to save his back while Resz gets Lino out of prison in exchange for Marco, whom Yuri promptly kills so that he can’t testify against Resz. Elsewhere, Moss tries desperately to catch Resz for his corrupt ways, but is unable to go anywhere because of the lack of proof.
Julia eventually rescues Lino, while Areski takes Charas’s keychain from Lino’s old car’s wreckage. Lino plans on leaving all of this behind and moving to Spain but, of course, things are about to get much more complicated!
At Julia’s place, Lino learns everything about Charas and Areski’s relationship and why the latter killed him from Marco’s interview recording. He opens up about Charas wanting to recruit Areski to stop the go-fast gangs between France and Spain, and although Areski is unsure, Charas convinces him that once the brigade is up and running, they won’t be able to stop them.

Charas used Areski to get back at Resz, for whom Areski was working at the time, and throw him off his game. Of course, Areski makes a deal with Resz behind his back, promising to look the other way when the time comes. Resz makes him aware that if he botches this operation, he will have to kill Charas. Although Areski is sure that it would never come to that, things didn’t work out in the end, resulting in him shooting Charas. It’s clear that Areski has regret over the events that have transpired; he may have even grown fond of Charas.
Back in the present, Resz learns that he won’t be promoted to head of the narcotics department because of the rumours swirling around him. He is left infuriated and decides to get rid of everything that stops his plans from being successful. Elsewhere, Lino goes to get his old car and realises that Areski is in town. He tells Julia to meet him at Stella’s and rushes over there as well. He eventually walks in on Yuri trying to get rid of Areski and gets into a fistfight.

The fight turns into a car chase and, after rendering Yuri unconscious, Lino gives Areski a chase. Julia joins them and is eventually taken hostage by Areski. Moss goes to meet Areski later, agreeing to give him the same deal as Marco if he agrees to testify against Resz. She employs Julia to get him to the German police, but, behind everyone’s backs, she draws up a plan with Resz as well, leveraging Areski to get a position in Resz’s new team in the narcotics department.
On the day Julia is supposed to hand Areski over to the Germans, she asks Lino to help in the transport, which turns out to be a good idea since Moss sells them out and Resz’s men go after them. Lino is able to save the two of them, but eventually realises that they have walked into a trap when they find everyone on the German-bound plane dead. Resz captures all of them and eventually shoots Julia after exposing Moss’s involvement. Unfortunately for Resz, Yuri comes in just after they are about to shoot the two men and kills Resz for betraying him. He eventually shoots all of Resz’s men and then kills Cole as well.
With nothing to save him, Areski goes on the run once more, and after sharing a kiss with Julia, Lino tries to capture him. After an arduous chase, he successfully nabs him and brings him back to the police station. Moss is captured as well for her involvement. The film ends with Julia and Lino happily walking off into the distance as they welcome Sarah to their team.
