The Divorce Insurance OST: Songs as Beautiful as the Love Between That Grew in the Kdrama

The Divorce Insurance OST is here, and it is now time to rush into the playlist filled with beautiful songs for fans of the show! The Kdrama may have come to an end, but the songs are ready to take us back to the story that won our hearts and kept them filled with warmth for weeks. The show has certainly gone beyond its title and delivered a plot that was most unexpected, unique, and simply chaotic.

The Divorce Insurance (이혼보험) plot follows an insurance company’s product development team that develops divorce-related products for their customers. Among this team is an elite who has gone through three divorces himself and knows better than anyone about marital problems. Directed by Lee Won-suk, the drama stars Lee Dong-wook, Lee Joo-bin, Lee Kwang-soo, Lee Da-hee, Kim Won-hae, EXY, and other cast members.

As the show finally comes to an end, it is finally time to take a look back at the journey our beloved couples walked on throughout the new Korean drama. As the songs all take us through some of the most important parts of the show, it is now time to relive the emotional rollercoaster we experienced during the past weeks. With this, let us take a look at this playlist that is ready to take us on another adventure!

The Divorce Insurance OST!

Ending Credit by Ha Sung-woon

This Kdrama really knows how to do things in the most surprising and unconventional ways, and the OST is following its lead with this first track. Ending Credit brings a song with a meaning that is deep, like the story we have just witnessed. Comparing the ending of feeling and relationship with a person with the ending credits of a movie scene, this song dives deep into the emotions of the moment. As a bittersweet moment takes over, this song is like a slow beauty that transports you in front of an empty movie theatre, where you sit overwhelmed by emotions.

Don’t Be Sad by Kang Asol

The rollercoaster of emotions has only just begun, as this track takes you onto the other side of this fun Kdrama. A song that talks about wishing the other person not to be sad when facing the upcoming separation, this slow melody played on the piano is unlike anything we have seen. The song is slow, beautiful, and captures the sad side of the story and the characters in the best way possible.

You Never Know by Heon Seo

Third in the list, this song captures the feelings of love blooming within our male leads as they slowly fall for the woman meant for them. There is a beauty in the contrasting expressions of the male leads as they get wrapped in the same emotions. But while one feels calm in his love, the other experiences chaos, while the third shows his resilience to all that is stopping him from being with his love.

The Moon is Mooning by Luca Minor

Here’s another jazz track that lights up the romantic mood of the Kdrama, as the slow yet mesmerizing melody takes over the listeners. With metaphorical lyrics and the unease that is slowly settling down, this song captures the beauty of rediscovering your feelings and finding love once again.

Forever Here With Me by Jae Yeon

With a focus on our beloved chaotic couple, this song pays homage to a distant memory of love that will forever live in our memory, despite everything that changes in love. This lonely melody looks back at a fleeting love that stays in a corner of the heart that will never change. The beautiful melody and wonderful lyrics captivate the audience like never before.
