Good Partner: Jang Na-ra, Nam Ji-hyun, and Others are All Set to Light Up the Upcoming SBS Law Drama

SBS has unveiled images from the script reading session of their highly anticipated drama, Good Partner, which promises a delightful blend of comedy, romance, and legal drama. Slated to premiere on July 12, 2024, this Kdrama (굿파트너) is directed by Kim Ga-ram and written by Choi Yoo-na. It features a stellar cast, including Jang Na-ra, Nam Ji-hyun, Kim Joon-han, and Block B’s P.O.

Good Partner centres around the professional and personal lives of two lawyers: Cha Eun-Kyung, a seasoned divorce attorney, and Han Yu-Ri, a novice in the same field. The script reading session was attended by the main cast, including Na-ra, Ji-hyun, Joon-han, P.O, Seung-Hyun, and Jae-Yi. The actors demonstrated remarkable chemistry and delivered passionate performances, heightening anticipation for the show.

Jang Na-ra stars as Cha Eun-Kyung, a top-tier divorce lawyer with 17 years of experience. Known for her straightforward and occasionally prickly demeanour, Eun-Kyung finds herself at a pivotal point in her life. Her interactions with rookie lawyer Han Yu-ri, who is her polar opposite, lead to significant personal growth and changes. Na-ra’s portrayal captures the upheaval in Eun Kyung’s life, blending her unique charm with the character’s realism.

Ji-hyun takes on the role of Yu-ri, a newcomer to divorce law. Her character often clashes with the more experienced Eun-kyung, prioritising justice over the firm’s efficiency. Through these conflicts, Yu-ri matures and evolves. Kim Joon-han plays Jung Woo-jin, the team leader of Daejeong’s Divorce Team 2. Woo-jin, a loyal junior to Eun-kyung, balances respect and candid advice, bringing a gentle charisma to the role. Block B’s P.O stars as Jeon Eun-ho, an optimistic lawyer advocating for a balance between work and love. As Yu-ri’s mentor, Eun-ho plays a crucial role in guiding new recruits to the divorce team.

SBS has confirmed that Good Partner will air every Friday and Saturday, beginning on July 12. Fans can look forward to a captivating mix of legal drama, comedy, and romance, brought to life by a talented cast and crew. The released script-reading photos offer a glimpse into the vibrant energy and strong connections among the cast, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting new series.
