Glitch: Everything To Know About Upcoming Alien Mystery Thriller

Netflix’s upcoming mystery thriller Glitch which comes with a dash of sci-fi is almost here and we are as excited as anyone out there to know how this story is set to go! There’s no doubt that Korean entertainment has seriously got us hooked with its amazing plot in various genres and we’ve got another to add to the list.

Glitch revolves around a young woman who is on a mission to look for her boyfriend who went missing one day. She gets along with a UFO watchers community and starts investigating the weird events that have been happening lately along with her boyfriend.

The Korean drama shows the story of an alien mystery that brings a young woman Hong Ji-hyo into its centre as she forms an unexpected friendship between two people who would be on the extreme and opposite ends of the spectrum. With the UFO watchers community becoming their bridge, how will the friendship between them turn out to be? And will they find out the real mystery behind the missing cases?

The trailer of the show really gets us intrigued because unlike most alien movies and shows, this will take comedy and science fiction to the next level. The disappearing people and the reason why only Ji-hyo is able to see the aliens is a mystery that we want to know about soon.

Glitch Plot

Netflix’s synopsis of the movie reads: “A young woman joins forces with a UFO enthusiast to investigate her boyfriend’s sudden disappearance and stumbles into a wild conspiracy.”

With 10 episodes that will be around 53 minutes long, the show will bring us a mix of genres to keep us entertained as we laugh and bring ourselves to the edge of our seats which makes it definitely one to look forward to.

Glitch Cast

Directed by Jin Han-sae, the drama stars Jeon Yeo-been, Nana, Lee Dong-hwi, Ryu Kyung-soo, Jeon Bae-soo, and Jung Da-bin alongside other cast members.

Glitch is set to release on October 7, 2022, and will be available for streaming on Netflix.
