Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode 5 Recap

This episode was packed with intense emotions and action. Natsu and his team engage in a fierce battle against members of Diabolos, displaying remarkable skill and precision. Natsu overwhelms the villains, forcing them to retreat. However, before fleeing, they reveal that they are not the only dragon eaters—there are others in their group who are even more dangerous.

Despite Diabolos shifting their focus away from the Water God and towards hunting Touka, Natsu and his friends are still determined to help Mercphobia. Natsu has developed a soft spot for the dragon, recognizing the deep care he has for his people and friends. Natsu is committed to finding a way to stop the Water God without resorting to killing him.

This resolve is evident when Natsu sees the city of Ermina in ruins and rushes to assist its inhabitants. There, he understands why Elefseria wanted to prevent Mercphobia’s rampage. Mercphobia has lost control of his powers and has gone on a destructive rampage after being attacked by Diabolos. The shocking twist is that Touka didn’t steal Mercphobia’s magic, but instead, she took away his ability to control his powers. Now, it falls to Natsu to stop the Water God from destroying the very people he has always protected.

Meanwhile, Touka reveals her true nature and intentions, exposing her connection to the white mage. While Touka herself may not be a direct threat, her white mage alter ego is a grave danger and must be stopped at any cost.

This episode will focus on Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Wendy and Erza defeating and probably killing Mercphobia, who has lost control of his powers. Natsu does not want to do this as he thinks that Mercphobia has a good soul.
