While Doctor Lawyer and Why Her? make us move to the edge of our seats, this upcoming series has a more inspiring and heartfelt message for us.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo (이상한 변호사 우영우) is a legal Korean series directed by Yoo In-shik and written by Moon Ji-won is set to premiere on ENA and Netflix.

Netflix describes this show as, “Brilliant attorney Woo Young-woo tackles challenges in the courtroom and beyond as a newbie at a top law firm and a woman on the autism spectrum.”

Extraordinary Attorney Woo follows the life of attorney Woo Young-woo who is extremely smart and has autism spectrum disorder. Graduating from the prestigious Seoul National University at the top of her class due to her high IQ and excellent memory, she lacks empathy and social skills. Upon entering one of the top law firms, she finds herself dealing with prejudice against herself through which she perseveres and solves cases in her own unique way.

The legal Korean series stars Park Eun-bin (The King’s Affection), Kang Tae-oh (Doom At Your Service), Kang Ki-young, Baek Ji-won, alongside other cast members.

Eun-bin stars as the attorney Woo Young-woo while Kang Tae-oh plays the role of Lee Joon-ho and Kang Ki-young of Jung Myung-seok.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo Release Date and More

The Korean series is set to release on June 29, 2022, at 9 pm KST and is set to make your heart melt for our attorney Woo Young-woo. This 16 episodes series will air every Wednesday and will have a run time of around 60 minutes. You can stream it on Netflix.
