Eve or Eve’s Scandal (이브의 스캔들) is a 2022 South Korean Romantic Melodrama written by Yoon Young-mi and directed by Park Bong-sub. The drama stars Seo Yea-ji, Park Byung-eun, Lee Sang-yeob and Yoo Sun in leading roles. The series will run for 16 episodes. Eve Episode 13 and Eve Episode 14 has a runtime of 60 minutes and 62 minutes respectively.

In Eve Episode 13, Han So-ra drops a doubt in Yoon-gyeom’s mind about Ra-el’s real identity and it works. Yoon-gyeom tails Ra-el everywhere she goes after she cancels a meeting with him. Jang Moon-hee has been missing from home and Ra-el is desperate to find her. She goes to her secret hideout and traces her location near Han Pan-ro’s house. She visits Seo Eun-pyeong in the hospital and informs him the same. After she leaves the hospital, Eun-pyeong sees Yoon-gyeom following Ra-el’s car.

Eun-pyeong calls Yoon-gyeom to meet him and reveals that he had been attacked and he suspects Yoon-gyeom and his in-laws to be involved in it. They start arguing over it but Yoon-gyeom stops speaking when Eun-pyeong exposes that he knows Yoon-gyeom has been following Ra-el. He questions Yoon-gyeom’s love for Ra-el which makes him introspect. Ra-el goes back to the villa and tries to enter Yoon-gyeom’s secret vault and Yoon-gyeom can see through the CCTV Camera inside his study room. He calls Ra-el and gives her the passcode to the vault and asks her to bring a box from it to him. He decides to trust her.
Ra-el finds the original documents of the gediks semiconductors and hands them over to Eun-pyeong. Eun-pyeong has ordered the police to search Pan-ro’s residence for the suspected kidnapping of Jang Moon-hee. Ra-el has promised So-ra to leave her husband only if she releases Jang Moon-hee safely from hostage. So-ra tries to run away with Jang Moon-hee but her father catches her. He not only murders Jang Moon-hee but also puts So-ra into confinement. Eun-pyeong arrives there with the police at the same time but doesn’t find Moon-hee anywhere. Ra-el meets Yoon-gyeom who tells her that even if she cannot share everything with him, he still loves her and can do anything for her.

Ra-el mentions to Eun-pyeong that Yoon-gyeom will find out her truth soon but receives terrible news about Moon-hee’s death before she can explain everything. In Moon-hee’s belongings, Ra-el finds the recording device with all the conversations recorded. The conversations also mention Ra-el’s real mother and murder which makes Ra-el break down. Ra-el goes back to her hideout and notices something suspicious and in no time, Yoon-gyeom appears in front of her. He has seen everything in the room and confronts Ra-el. He hurts Ra-el and regrets it instantly.
Eve Episode 14 Ending
So-ra manages to run away from confinement with her secretary’s help and begs Yoon-gyeom to let her hide in his house or else, her father will kill her. Yoon-gyeom sees the wounds on her face and has no choice but to let her stay. Han Pan-ro had found out about the trial and now, Ra-el decides to handle it for Moon-hee. She sends messages to all the journalists about the case and goes public with her identity. Eun-pyeong joins hands with her and describes how he was attacked by a previous Prime Minister without mentioning the name. This puts Pan-ro in a tight spot as all the lawyers back off from the divorce lawsuit.
Yoon-gyeom visits Ra-el and begs her to stop this devastating war but Ra-el tells Yoon-gyeom that the only thing that can stop it will be the death of him, So-ra, Pan-ro and Kim Jung-chul because that is the only correct way to repay for the death of her parents and Jang Moon-hee.
Eve Episode 13 & 14 Review
Eve Episode 13 & 14 brings us close to the destruction. The episodes hold a decent pace in revealing the truth to everyone one by one. Yoon-gyeom, Eun-pyeong and Ra-el all have different ways to show their love for their special, however, they all have one thing in common, they can never be together with the one they love. Eve Episode 14 is one of the most vulnerable episodes of the series and Kang Yoon-gyeom clearly steals the show.
