Divorce Attorney Shin Episode 6 Reactions are sure that Jin Yeong-ju definitely has a hand behind Ju-hwa’s tragic accident and something big might come out of it. Meanwhile many are happy to see the bromance between the three friends who support each other in every happy or sad moment.
It (신성한, 이혼) is a Korean courtroom drama series, co-directed by Lee Jae-hoon and Lim Jun-hyuk. The screenplay is written by Yoo Young-ah and it has been adapted from the webtoon of the same name by Kang Tae-kyung, which was published from 10 September 2019 to 31 August 2021 by Kakao.
The cast of the series includes Cho Seung-woo as Shin Sung-han, Han Hye-jin as Lee Seo-jin, Kim Sung-kyun as Jang Hyeong-geun, Jung Moon-sung as Jo Jeong-sik, Kang Mal-geum as Kim So-yeon, Jeon Bae-soo as Park Yu-seok, Han Eun-seong as Choi Jun, Cha Hwa-yeon as Ma Geum-hee, and Noh Susanna as Jin Young-joo among others.
Episode 6 starts with a flashback of Ju-hwa at a convenience store on a rainy night. As she steps out of the store, she gets a call which leaves her stunned and before she could gather herself, she accidentally steps onto the road where an oncoming truck hits her. This explains how she died but also questions the identity of the caller, which turns out to be none other than Jin Yeong-ju.
Meanwhile, in Professor Choi Jeong-ho’s case, we see the family together for the first time, where the mother Kim Ji-suk is furious that the girlfriend called up her son, which led him to come back. While the son laments that he will give his liver to his dad & doesn’t want to live abroad anymore due to his deteriorating mental health & panic attacks. When his mother refuses, he then reminds her that she can divorce him then, so that the girlfriend can donate & he won’t.
Later on, in the divorce mediation, Sung-han plays a phone call of Ji-suk where she is clearly angry about the insurance being cancelled since she can’t claim the money after his death. The defendant’s lawyer rebuts it by saying that recording someone’s phone call without permission is illegal & they will sue for it.
Then we get to know that it was all Sung-han’s plan & this was the criminal record he was talking about as they just needed the proof of the real intention of the wife to show her priorities. And it worked in their favour as she agreed to divorce. With this case, the grapes are all filled & now that the last puzzle to Ju-hwa’s death is placed, Sung-han is seen getting ready to take on the people who pushed her to such extreme limits.
