Call It Love episode 2 starts with Woo-joo getting her job at Best Fair after stalking Dong-jin and realising that he is living a cushy life while she and her siblings just lost their home. She desperately tries to get a job, and, in the present, we see that Dong-jin knew from the first minute that Woo-joo was following him home. In all fairness, she was doing a pretty bad job of it and was pretty easy to spot from a mile away.
Coming back to the last scene from the first episode, Dong-jin asks Woo-joo why she is following him around, and she confesses that she is interested in him, but not in a romantic way. Dong-jin informs her that he is aware of that fact; considering the look on her face, it seems like she wants to fight him. Either way, he tells her that they should talk tomorrow, but Woo-joo asks him why he let her follow him when he knows from beforehand what is going on.

Anyway, Woo-joo asks Dong-jin a bunch of personal questions, but he asks her to stop prying since no one asks him these things, and he is not interested in sharing them with anyone. A frustrated Woo-joo leaves after being dejected, and while eating with Yoon Joon, she remembers the time she gave up her bow after deciding not to attend college in order to save money and take care of her sick mother.
In the present, Woo-joo comes across Dong-jin at the grocery store and starts chatting with him. Although he is not interested to know about her, she continues to ramble on, going as far as to tell him that she will tell him her grand plan of taking her house back. He continues to tell her that he is not interested in other people’s misery and starts to walk off. Woo-joo tries to give him grief for his attitude, but Dong-jin remains unbothered.
At work, Woo-joo hears unnecessary rumours about Dong-jin and how he probably embezzled money from his old company. The rumours confuse everyone regarding Dong-jin’s true nature, and his strictly professional exterior definitely doesn’t help. That night, Dong-jin makes an appearance at their school reunion and saves Sun-woo’s face after they start questioning him about Dong-jin’s relationship with Min-young.

In a flashback, we see that Dong-jin was also probably cheated on by Min-young, but he never told anyone about it and lied to everyone to protect her. He learnt about it while out camping, and thus he is traumatised by the activity itself. Either way, on his way back home, his friend tells him that Min-young has come back to Korea, and he spots her on his walk back. He tries to follow her, but eventually loses her in one of the side streets.
However, Min-young did spot him and was hiding from him in a café. Later that night, Woo-joo sneaks into the office and logs into Kang Min-soo’s computer.
The next morning, Woo-joo’s family expresses concern over her wearing mismatched shoes and wonders what she is up to next. As it turns out, she secretly logged into Min-soo’s computer to send out private information about the upcoming fair, and now there is a commotion in the office that Dong-jin needs to take care of. The entire office is in uproar, and Dong-jin tries to help the company recover from this.

Outside their cabin, Min-soo goes up to Woo-joo’s face and asks her why she came to the office late at night. She tries to deflect, but as it turns out, another employee has seen her entering the premises, and Min-soo isn’t letting this go, mentioning that she even knew his password. She tries to strong-arm her way out of this mess, but by then, Dong-jin and the others have heard everything and are now demanding answers.
Sure that she’s in deep trouble, Woo-joo and the entire office is left stunned when Dong-jin chooses not to talk to her, instead asking Min-soo and Ms Yun to come to the conference room. As they rally to get Woo-joo out, she tells Yoon Joon that although she did copy some files from Min-soo’s computer, she didn’t send anything out. As it turns out, someone else had come in after her who actually sent the fated email.
After much deliberation, Dong-jin decides to talk to Woo-joo and takes her on a ride to have a conversation. Dong-jin’s silence along the way, however, gets on her nerve, and she starts to lash out at him so that he will say something. However, getting anything out of him turns out to be an impossible task.

Outside Mr Shin’s office, Dong-jin and Woo-joo start talking about the incident, and he asks her to explain to him all of her odd behaviours from when she joined. Instead of explaining, Woo-joo starts hurling insults at him, calling him pathetic and wimpy. Insulted, he fires her on the spot and leaves her there.
That night, as Woo-joo stuffs her face with ramyeon, Dong-jin acknowledges that he still feels hurt because everything that she mentioned is right. That night, the two meet again at the grocery store, and she tells him that she isn’t a spy – although she isn’t perfect, she wouldn’t do something like this for money. She also tells him that he won’t be successful because he has no clue about anything and then walks away after telling him to break a leg.
Call It Love Episode 2 Ending

The next day, Woo-joo’s words ring true with Dong-jin, who decides to trust her and look at the CCTV footage. He gets the number plate of the car and, while searching for the car in the lot, finally realises who it might be – Cha Young-min. He is left absolutely shell-shocked and later contacts Woo-joo in order to talk to her.
When they meet later, Dong-jin apologises for his behaviour last day and asks her to come back to work. She tells him that he will regret his decision, but interestingly, he laughs at her. Just as they make up, Ju-ho comes charging in and is almost about to hit him when Woo-joo pushes him to the ground, taking the two men by surprise.
Call It Love Episode 2 Review
The first few episodes of almost every show turns out to be rather slow thanks to slowly introducing the characters and their situations. Although this show does a quick job of coming up with everything and giving us a backstab and the culprit, the main story hasn’t progressed yet, obviously.

As we wait for the story to pick up, we are left with little nuggets of our protagonists’ lives and who they are. I liked these moments; they are relatable and honestly quite sad.
Waiting eagerly to find out what happens next, but really need to know why there is a god-awful tint in every scene that takes place in the present!
Call It Love is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
