Bling Empire New York Season 1 Teaser has been unveiled by Netflix, whose release date hasn’t been decided yet. We meet a fresh group of wealthy, sophisticated and hilarious Asian-Americans from New York City, where the quality of real estate is measured by address, not acreage. Conversations are direct, not coded.
And competition – for love, for money, and for power – is fierce. Billionaires, CEOs, and fashion icons – it’s a city where you can be anything you want to be. The spin-off series of the original Bling Empire is giving viewers their very first glimpse into the opulence ahead. Fans of the flagship series might even recognize one star in the East Coast mix, amid all the private jets and high fashion.
It’s Dorothy Wang, whom the viewers saw at the end of Bling Empire Season 2, where Dorothy has moved from Los Angeles to New York City. And she is clearly ready to vibe in her new city. She says, “I’m hoping that I’ll vibe with New York guys more than LA guys. I’m single, ready to mingle,” telling the camera in between shots of her on enviable dates.

Another cast member of the show Tina Leung is a fashion it-girl. As seen in the teaser, sparkle, fashion and feathers are the names of the status game as the cast parties and feuds throughout New York’s concrete jungle. And with even bigger blings on them as we are shown over 145-carat diamonds and another person summarises it for us saying – This is like three Rolls-Royces in one.
If you think the LA riches were over the board, this group of New York elites might take it to another level. Bigger parties, dramatic feuds and rivalry can be seen from the released teaser. While the third season of the original show is slated to go on the floor this month, we can only expect this New York spin-off to be released in the last month of the year on Netflix.
