Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 1 Recap
The story picks up where we left off, diving straight into the power of Squad Zero. The first half revisits Senjumaru’s decisive battle against the Sternritters, where she single-handedly takes down Yhwach’s subordinates. Meanwhile, Yhwach himself loses both his name and his status as king to Osho, but that hardly stops someone with “Almighty” in their title. We finally get to see Yhwach’s true abilities, including his power to see multiple futures, making him nearly impossible to defeat.

Uryu also makes a surprising return, defying the odds after what should’ve been a painful death. With some new abilities, he quickly rises to become one of the strongest characters in Bleach. The ensuing battle is intense, captivating, and beautifully animated, showing just how much effort the studio has put into this arc.
On the other hand, we see Ichigo and others trying to reach the Soul King’s Palace, where Yhwach wants to go to defeat the Soul King.

Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 2 Review And Recap
We got another episode that covered the storyline a lot better than the first episode. The situation at the Royal palace does not look good as a tremor could be felt all around, signalling something has happened. This tremendous tremor not only rocked the Soul Society, but it also reached the desolate world of Hueco Mundo and the human world. Just at that moment, Ichigo and his friends arrive to stop Yhwach from killing the Soul King.
It is here that we see an intense clash between Ichigo and Yhwach, who clearly tries to encourage Ichigo to join him. Throughout their fight, we witness how strong Ichigo has gotten since his training with Squad Zero. Previously, very few could stand before Yhwach and land a blow properly, but Ichigo managed to cause plenty of damage and prove his newfound powers. However, it is only later that you understand that Yhwach has not even used the powers of his eyes in this entire fight.

This fight was absolutely insane, as both Ichigo and Yhwach appeared dangerous and invincible. Ichigo is the only hope right now who can do something about Yhwach, as the other prominent members of the Soul Society are too busy with their own stuff. Ukitake is trying to heal Zaraki, Urahara is busy concocting a plan that can defeat Yhwach, and on the other hand, Shunsui, for some reason, goes to meet Aizen.
In such a scenario, the protection of Soul King lies entirely on Ichigo, but can he do anything against an entity like Yhwach? Not only that, but the last twist that we saw really sealed the fact that Bleach has officially entered the part where everything is going downhill for the Soul Reapers.
This episode also touched upon the real reason behind Yhwach’s entrance to the Royal Palace before eradicating all the soul reapers first. Urahara clarifies that the Quincies faced the extinction of their race twice because of their inability to fit in with the world. This is why Yhwach wants to kill his father and become the almighty ruler himself to create a new world that no longer tries to wipe out the Quincies. However, this sort of ambition comes from the destruction of everything that exists now, and Ichigo and others definitely cannot let that happen.

Verdict
Again, today’s episode was absolutely brilliant and very engaging. The animation, as always, is top-notch, with the fighting sequences keeping you hooked till the end. Now that all hope is lost, it will be interesting to see how they manage to stabilise the situation.
