Again My Life Episode 14 Recap: Jeon Seok-kyu Becomes The Next Chief Prosecutor

Again My Life (어게인 마이 라이프) is a 2022 Korean drama featuring Lee Joon-gi, Lee Kyoung-young, Kim Ji-eun and Jung Sang-hoon. It is based on the web novel of the same name written by Lee Hae-nal. This fantasy and mystery-infused Law Kdrama is directed by Han Chul-soo. Again My Life Episode 14 has a runtime of 67 minutes.

In Again My Life Episode 14, Lee Min-soo reveals why he joined hands with Cho Tae-seub. Min-soo wants to avenge Jeon Il-bo who had framed his father in a bribery case which destroyed his father’s and their family’s life. Min-soo accepts Tae-seub’s offer to keep a check on Hee-woo only under the condition that he will get to arrest and charge Jeon Il-bo for his crimes.

Seok-hoon is a day away from the hearing for the prosecutor general again. Hee-woo cannot let it happen and has a bigger plan than before. First of all, Assemblyman Hwang exposes Seok-hoon for the abuse of power during the Gumsan drug cartel case when he had cleared the names of the mayor and an assemblyman. Right after Hwang ends his briefing, Kim Kyu-ri exposes Seok-hoon’s wife for corruption and hiding their real income to avoid taxes.

Both Seok-hoon and Tae-seub are already worrying about how to cover the stories but one last blow to Seok-hoon came unexpected and ended all of his chances to cover his image. Kim Han-mi speaks on national television about her and Seok-hoon’s relationship. He abandoned her mother after everything she had done for him. Han-mi is not even registered in his family register and he always threatened her to stay low. Tae-seub orders Hee-woo to arrest Seok-hoon because he has reached a point of no return.

Things have been changing at a fast pace but Chunha doesn’t have a new chairperson yet. Cho Tae-seub visits Hee-a himself and threatens her to make her elder brother the chairperson or she will face consequences after the new prosecutor general is appointed. Hee-a confidently stands against him and asks Tae-seub to bring a beneficial offer to him and that she won’t fall for his threats.

After Seok-hoon, Tae-seub is looking for a new chief prosecutor for the central office. As suggested by his assistant, he arranges a private meeting with Jeon Seok-kyu. He asks Seok-kyu to destroy Assemblyman Hwang’s career in exchange for the position of the chief prosecutor. He declines his offer to become a dog under Tae-seub’s leash. Seok-kyu tells Hee-woo about the offer and that he has declined it.

Cho Tae-seub has become doubtful about Hee-woo and now that he has found his weakness, Tae-seub asks director Han to find out Hee-woo’s weakness. He has sent a woman to seduce Hee-woo with a yet unknown intention. The real shock comes to Hee-woo when he gets a call from Assemblyman Hwang. Jeon Seok-kyu has been appointed as the chief prosecutor for the central office.

In Again My Life Episode 14, Hee-woo’s trusted people have been moving away from him one by one. First, Lee Min-soo and now Jeon Seok-kyu. Hee-woo has never put his guard down and was surprised to hear about Lee Min-soo. However, he had seen Jeon Seok-kyu’s move coming.
