The Jug Jugg Jeeyo trailer is now out and, this might just be the family entertainer we have all been waiting for! Presented by Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions, the upcoming comedy-drama is directed by Raj Mehta with a story by Anurag Singh and, Screenplay and Dialogues by Anurag Singh, Sumit Bhateja and Rishhabh Sharrma. The film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta.
A Dharma Productions Film, Jug Jugg Jeeyo stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli in major roles. With music supervision by Azeem Dayani and cinematography by Jay Patel, Jug Jugg Jeeyo trailer description reads: “JugJugg Jeeyo is a story set in the heart of Patiala and much like the city, it’s full of love and laughter, colour and drama. It’s about family and its values, unresolved yearnings, and unexpected reconciliations.”
The trailer shows us how Dhawan’s Kukoo and Advani’s Naina are bent on getting a divorce. But before Kukoo can come out clean about this ordeal to his father Bheem, played by Anil Kapoor, he receives a different surprise that his father is contemplating divorcing Kukoo’s mother (Neetu Kapoor). This crisps the plot and things are set in motion as the two men of the family juggle the idea of divorce in their respective marriages.

But, is the constitution of marriage just that brittle to be taken down? Well, reconciliation and redemption might still have a role to play in this journey taken on by our characters.
