Tiny Beautiful Things Trailer Breakdown

The trailer of the series starts with a couple’s therapy session involving Clare and her husband before it leads into a self-assuring monologue from the single mother. The voiceover layered with visuals of her distressing life, gives us a broad hint about the rapidly evolving issues surrounding Clare.

At first, the trailer mentions her nearly estranged husband, followed by her angsty teenage daughter, whom Clare caught while trying out her first threesome. The plethora of “never encountered before” problems creates a vacuum in her life, that makes way for an interesting professional change.

With the help of a friend, Clare picks up writing job advisory columns under a special pseudonym (which is disguised to help others to deal with relationships and stuff). Furthermore, even though Clare has second thoughts about the significance of the column, the process of writing self-help advice leads to a drastic change in her own life.

As the trailer progresses, we see visuals of changes in Clare’s life, including the repairment of her relationships with others. And even though it takes her time to get things in order, her positive attitude towards the gradual change helps her in the process. What follows next, are a few light-hearted exchanges between Clare and her loved ones.

Notably, the last few frames of the trailer leave Clare in a state of hopefulness about the future, and a heartwarming satisfaction about the present set of events.
