Who is the new ghost of this story?

The new ghost that comes to Yi-rang is a boy called Si-ho, who remembers nothing about himself. He starts playing with Yi-rang and has a pretty playful personality. In the beginning, Yi-rang loses his calm with Si-ho because of his constant pranks, but he also starts to feel bad for the boy who died at such a young age.

How did Na-hyun behave with Yi-rang?

The relationship between Yi-rang and Na-hyun goes through a significant development in this episode as they both become aware of each other’s interests for the other. Na-hyun tries to ask Yi-rang what he wanted to say to her, and Yi-rang realises later that Na-hyun was hoping for a proper answer from him. This definitely gave this episode a lighthearted edge, which it very much needed because of the sad overall tone.

What actually happened to the boy?

Si-ho’s parents themselves did not know that their son had died. We see a bereaved mother go to the police station to complain about her son’s disappearance. On the other hand, Si-ho’s father goes to Na-hyun to help him get divorced from his wife, as his presence is affecting her negatively.

This is because, on the day Si-ho disappeared, he had been very sick, and his father still took him to school because he could not mark him absent, as he himself was busy. However, it was from his school that Si-ho vanished.

What was the twist in this episode?

One of the major twists of this episode was the reason behind Si-ho’s kidnapping. We see a detective home Yi-rang already knew was actually the one who had kidnapped Si-ho and most likely also killed him. He also kidnapped another boy and kept him at an abandoned golf course. For some reason, the detective called the boy his son, and maybe there are some psychological issues that he has been suffering with, which are making him think the boys he kidnaps are his sons.

What happens to Yi-rang?

When Yi-rang tried to locate the second boy who had been kidnapped, he was attacked by the perpetrator. When Yi-rang was taking him to a hospital, he was shot fatally. Though people managed to take him to a hospital, his situation was so bad that he most likely went into a coma.

Thus, when Na-hyun comes to visit him, she cries out after seeing his situation. Weirdly enough, Yi-rang’s soul also goes out of his body, and he sees Na-hyun approach his comatose body from afar.

What worked, and what did not work?

The slight romantic elements at the beginning of this episode were really good, as they showcased that the relationship between Yi-rang and Na-hyun is finally going somewhere. The twist was also very unexpected and well executed. It was very difficult to depict that it was the detective who would be the culprit.

This episode is better than the others as it provides a good mixture of heartfelt moments and thrills. It did not have any glaring issues.
