Song Hye-kyo’s upcoming revenge Kdrama The Glory (더 글로리) is almost here. With new character posters released earlier today, our excitement reaches new peaks with the cast’s amazing looks and deadly warnings. Directed by Ahn Gil-ho, the actor leads the drama alongside Lee Do-hyun, Im Ji-yeon, Park Sung-hoon, Yeom Hye-ran, Jung Sung-il, and other cast members.
The Glory brings the story of a young architect aspirant who after severe bullying has to drop out of school. Later, her bullies lead a happy and everyday life; however, she soon finds herself becoming the homeroom teacher of their children and there begins her road of revenge.
The posters released earlier today show the character of various actors in the upcoming show as some are here to kill while others want a way out as they beg for mercy. With Song Hye-kyo’s character Moon Dong-eun taking the lead with her determination for revenge, we see Lee Do-hyun as Joo Yeo-jung following her as her executioner who is ready to follow her command.
As other cast members soon follow with their characters that are either fearlessly facing her intricate revenge plan or ready to beg for mercy, there are those who are also here to help her out in every way possible. Following the deadly duo of Song Hye-kyo and Lee Do-hyun, we next see her ex-bullies making an appearance as some scoff at her wish for revenge while some, who have already felt the effect are looking for a way out. On the other hand, some are even shocked by the way she has used them for this very purpose.
While the messages left behind by these characters are very intriguing and exciting for the show, the beautifully made posters are a real pleasure to look at. As the beautifully embroidered tapestry has its vines wrapped around the characters, we know that they have already fallen deep into the skilfully woven plan that has been prepared by Moon Dong-eun.
Now the questions of how further will they fall into this plan and if they will ever be able to cut through these threads and escape their impending doom remains.
