Don’t Leave (Kal) is an upcoming Turkish romantic drama movie, releasing on Netflix this Friday. The movie is directed by Ozan Açiktan, written by Sami Berat Marçali and produced by Onur Güvenatam, Sebnem Kitis, Yelin Mckay, and Burak Oskay. It has a total runtime of 1 hour and 45 minutes.

The plot of the movie will surround a young man who recently broke up with his girlfriend looking distraught. The protagonist of the story is seen reminiscing about his past relationship throughout. Affected by the loss in his life, he is going on a downward spiral and putting himself in difficult situations.

The movie will deal will topics surrounding heartbreak, loss, and self-discovery. Semih, the main character of the movie is on a journey to find the necessary answers about his past relationship and life.

The Netflix synopsis of the movie reads “Semih’s girlfriend suddenly breaks up with him. In search of answers about their relationship, he must soon confront what he had long ignored.”

It is a story about abandonment and the search for answers. A man losing who he thought was the love of his life and dealing with loss. Making rash decisions without thinking twice can lead to unwanted issues surrounding our lives. Moving on from the hurt and finding answers is what the movie is going to be about.
