Chris Evans is People’s 2022 Sexiest Man Alive; 5 Movies That Prove Why He’s So Charismatic

People’s magazine has revealed its Sexiest Man Alive 2022 and it’s none other than Chris Evans himself. The 41-year-old actor has successfully taken the title from his fellow MCU co-star, Paul Rudd. The news was first announced on Monday night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

The actor reportedly said to People Magazine that, his mother will be proud of him and it is something she will be able to brag about. He also said that it is a little awkward for him as well calling it, “humble bragging”.

Chris Evans is infamously known for playing the role of Captain America across MCU movies but that is not all the actor has done. Even though most people know him only as the First Avenger, the actor has played other various roles which are highly underrated and deserves the same recognition.

1. Gifted (2017)

Chris Evans takes up the role of Frank, the guardian of his seven-year-old Mary Adler, his niece. Mary’s school teacher learns she is a gifted child who can solve complex mathematical equations within minutes. But Frank is afraid to get Mary into that world because he fears she will be used and her innocence taken away from her.

This back and forth leads to a custody battle between him and his mother because she wants Mary’s talents to be shown off into the world. Mckenna Grace, Lindsay Duncan, Jenny Slate, and Octavia Spencer are also part of the cast.

2. Knives Out (2019)

The movie surrounds around Ransom’s grandfather who died of a morphine overdose. Private investigators are anonymously hired to investigate the death. The plot thickens as it goes by and reveals if it was a suicide or a murder.

Daniel Craig, Ana De Armas, Jaimee Lee Curtis, Michael Ahanon, Don Johnson, and Toni Collette are also part of the cast.

3. Before We Go (2014)

A movie about two strangers stuck in Manhattan for the night, who find comfort and solace in each other. Chris Evans’ directorial debut, this movie is about friendship and romance that keeps growing between two strangers. Alice Eve as Brook Dalton loses her wallet, and Chris Evans as Nick Vaughan offers his help in the lonely city at night. This movie feels like a hot cup of coffee in winter.

4. The Gray Man (2021)

The Gray Man is an action-packed movie and Chris Evans yet again takes up the role of an antagonist named Lloyd Hansen who is in the hunt for an agent gone rogue named Six.

This movie is not a regular hero-beats-up-the-bad-guy movie, the plot is quite unique and is executed flawlessly. Ryan Gosling, Ana De Armas, Jessica Henwick, Dhanush, Regé-Jean Page, Wagner Moura, and Julia Butters are also part of the cast.
